yes, they could've done it from other devices and not the diks laptop, but imo they needed to laptop to get other incriminating photos of diks (arieth one) to send them to other frats (the jocks)

It doesn't justify claim about Cathy cluck. Magnar could hack into their laptop and take some photos, probably also send Jade video to Burke but if that's the case why laptop was gone during party and was found in libary? It doesn't make much sense to me. What about camera? He installed it? When and how? Or just hacked it?

The laptop was needed to get other incriminating photos of diks (as i said in other comment earlier). idk how hacking and stuff works but i think theyd need the laptop to get the photos. but im not too sure about the camera myself, idk

A hacker doesn't need that, they can enter the laptop as long as it's on the network and is powered on (although I agree it's much easier if they have a trojan gotten through physical access).

We don't know the computer was used... Just that it was found in the library along with nick. Magnar is more than capable of hacking the account as you say.

Will probably turn into another one of those 'got to be nice to someone way earlier in the game' scenarios, like not pissing off Sally as she's probably been the spy for Magnar, she's at all the parties that the nerds don't get invited to, so has the opportunity to collect 'dirt' on everyone, she could have fitted the camera during one of the parties, she wouldn't have been out of place in the women's locker room at the gym to take the picture of Cathy. So maybe if you're nice to Sally she'll confess to the MC or be nasty towards and she'll still confess cause she likes to be dominated and humiliated.

I was made fun of by Chip for this being one of the possible logical "paradigm shifts" the title of the episode was mentioning.

Would be funny on a Jill route though, that not Rusty but one of his relatives ended up with her.

Imo thats the thing, the laptop is just a distraction and was never used to send the pics. Nick had the laptop but didnt posted the cluck as magnar did that (probably just having access to the diks rooster account and laptop remotely) and Nick didnt come clean about it as he feared to be blamed for it.

The laptop was just a welcome distraction, the diks focused on it without considering anything else similar how they focus on "finding a traitor" without considering something else.

Imo nick is innocent other than having the laptop while this shit happened. magnar just tried to damage the diks and create chaos between the frats.

So cathy pic and letters was magnar and the pictures were the dorm girls unrelated to each other instead of all of it being this big plot from burke or vinny. I always thought vinny or burke being involved in small shit like this would be ridicoulous anyway.

Considering that development is now a year and a half long, there's really no point in bloating the game by adding new episodes.
Besides I'm sure he doesn't like working on one episode for over a year, it's a lot of stress. And I think he's already bored with the game and lost interest in it, despite his own words.
Really the new Q&A will be interesting and I will be very surprised if he says he plans to make 16 episodes.

Oh I definitely agree with you, it's gone on far too long and I think even DPC knows it.

I can't be arsed looking through the last Q&A but did he not say 14-16 with 14 the most likely? Also stating the season 4 would be quick. As it was an epilogue. I can't see him sticking to that at moment, it be difficult to tie everything up in 12, then give a 2 episode epilogue. Maybe tied up by 13 with a simple epilogue...

Yeah, especially Jill's route and the Others route focusing on Quinn give quite a bit of extra information important to the overall story that you only see while doing their routes.

Sage's and M&J's route currently mostly are there as fluff when i comes to story when it comes to route-specific scenes. Right now the other routes are mostly there for their sex scenes, their personal backstories and to see how the relationship with mc progresses, but nothing big for overall story that you can't get on the other routes.

Bella also has a lot of overlap with Jill with the major scenes. With both the Ski Trip and Bella's panty party, if you leave the DIK one early. The rest of their individual scenes are a bit more fluffy... I'll be curious to see if Jill actually wears the clothes you have her try on when you go clothing shopping.

Sage, to me, seemed more about deepening the connection between her and the MC on the romance path. She becomes a lot more open and vulnerable with her parent's divorce. They can even progress to to MC saying "I love you" to her at Bella's panty party. So if you are on her romance path, her story is really stepping up. Whereas the only other time 'love' is used is when talking with Josy at her photoshoot on the M&J path. Zoey's confession of love is really the third time, but it gets "paused" until he can think about it some more.

I'm personally hoping there'll be a way to run the M&J path as: 1) successful throuple; or 2) the two split and you can solo either. Although with the number of times you are forced to choose to visit just one of them, I'm thinking the throuple path will be killed off at some point. They even both compare their MC body count and it affects relationship points.

Software theory is nice although Jacks got letters at the start of episode 3 and Cathy leak was in episode 4.

I remember Rusty(?) saying that some photos they had only on the laptop? I'm not sure I got it right and what photos did he mean since 1) they didn't see Jocks' photos 2) only Cathy photo was shared from their account and surely they didn't have her photo there.

That means Magnar had only access to camera in Derek's room, he also PROBABLY have/had remote access to DIK's laptop at some point (assuming he sent Jade video to Burke) and we still don't know who leaked Cathy photo using DIK's laptop.
