On a legit save you can spend 3 bucks in everyone, even when playing without minigames.

Again, all you guys are doing is pointing out how if you are on an ideal path, everything falls into place. Yet if you aren't, as i picked a save file where i had no clue wtf I was doing to try this update with first, NOTHING lines up. They never rescheduled on my PT, there was no deciding to attend both parties, yet all of this stuff happens and none of it makes sense. THAT is a massive problem.

And that's before addressing the other big problems, like quickly wrapping up the Rio kidnapping, but nothing fucking coming of it. He built up to as cliffhanger, quickly resolved it and then fridged those characters. It's the type of writing that infuriates comic readers. And it was done even more poorly here.

DPC isn't the best writer, but he's typically infinitely better than what we see here. People have a right to be upset. And the people trying to play it off like it's nothing are just pointing out further problems unintentionally, and failing to see it themselves.

You can pursuit both, as long as you stay mostly on the neutral/Chick side with your choices and don't get a blowjob from Cathy in Bella's car.

That's a conversation I've had on all my paths so far, what one did you get?

That save file I was originally on a Maya/Josy path, the triangle stuff started and I bailed. I then negged all of the LI's until Rio started opening up and pursued her. This was my VERY first PT when I had just started fucking around w/ VN's in general. So I'm not sure wtf or how shit's broken by my choices, but it was definitely fucking broken.

Like if I were a game tester, this would be the ideal save file to do it on. That's how my choices played out. I was not "on a path" bc the only other VN's I had played were not nearly as path driven at that point.

I'm glad that when you're on primary paths things play out perfectly, but the storytelling literally broke on this PT for me to where decisions weren't made and things don't line up based on the weird ass decisions I made. That also doesn't change the cringe dialogue that's preventing me from wanting to immediately try one of the primary path's. I'll give it a couple of months for him to fix shit. It also doesn't change or make it ok that some of you guys are riding DPC's dick when there are clear fucking issues that people are pointing out that they encountered on their PT's. This is a big reason why DPC spends so much time testing and if I had to guess, his testers just used their saves for ideal paths like most users here would do.

Depends on choices, but technically with the right playthrough you can persue all the Main girls up to chapter 8

Man, I hate shit like this. You can search the whole fucking house for an hour and have no chance of actually getting it, because it isn't yet available, but the game also doesn't tell you that. Why not grey it out in the menu, especially since you can get any other one immediately?

In the Xmas decoration freeroam you talk to sage, she tells you the Jock have booked the Hots and they won't be at your party. You respond as you wish

You go back to the Dik Mansion talk to Jamie and Tommy at the tree tell them they won't be attending and then the plan to have it on the Friday instead of Saturday is formed...

You must've missed something/have corrupted files, coz it's a fixed event, it doesn't depend on any variables. Maybe you were using mods?

The most annoying thing about this season for me is that you have to constantly replay. The game has become too branching, there's a lot of variables. To open a scene, if you don't have a save for example, you have to go back to the first episode and start playing again.
This is bad for several reasons.
First, it's bad for immersion. For example, how did I know Jade was Sage's mother? Why should the game penalize me for not knowing? Maybe there were some hints in the game? Sage was completely different by then, she wasn't interested in a relationship, so why should I worry about what I did before? What's the point?
Second, replaying turns into a chore. You stop enjoying the game and do everything automatically.
Third, you become afraid of making mistakes. You're forced to roll back to play perfectly.
But then your experience is not unique.
I'm saying this from the perspective of someone who doesn't like to overplay. I don't like to make many saves, it's bad for immersion, I prefer 2-3 paths.
But I really like Sage and now he's making me play the way he wants to play, not the way I want to play. It's really really annoying.

I agree. Having the game too big is one thing. But simply adding scene requirement that require players to go back to S1 is totally nonsense.

Too much cheats so no scene? S1 and S2 is totally a F fest.

It has nothing to do with pathing. It has everything to do with reading dialogue. Sage told MC that HOTs need to attend jocks xmas party. Jamie told MC to hold the xmas party the day before jocks' party. The reason why LI HOTs wouldn't come is because they want to hang out at Bella's place.

I'm not sure what is so hard about understanding this? If you insist it isn't in your save, what dialogue do Sage and Jamie have during the xmas decorating free roam? Provide screenshot of their dialogue and attach your save file so we can have a look.

On a less controversial subject, quite a bit of fan service I thought. If you don't follow this thread and its obsession with Yoga girl, you must be wondering why you talk to the only unnamed girl in the entire mansion, which includes some I've never spotted once.

There was also a line from Nick about how Tommy's conspiracy theories on the traitor were twisted logic, most of which were popular here. Made me wonder if DPC wrote that after lurking.
