Ohh, that reminds me. That solo scene with Maya made me realize something -- that it's possible the whole weird skin texture issue that Maya has, that people give DPC shit over... might actually be not a mistake but intentional decision. Because of that hereditary disease Maya's mom has.

I'm not sure if it's intentional or just something he decided to make part of the plot from hearing about it online, same with the way he directly addresses the main complaints about josy lacking any character development because she always plays second fiddle to Maya. Either way it's interesting to see him adress both issues in the game.

Thats the point, I kept balance between them. After the Preps party I went with Josy and later, when you have to choose whether go with Maya or Josy, I went with Maya. And after the Halloween party Josy stated that I spend equal amount of time with them. After that, during episode 10, you have to choose again to spend time with Maya or Josy, so I have two saves, one for each one of the girls.

But now in episode 11, the dates are with Maya in the two saved games. Which doesn't make any fucking sense because in each of the saves I've prioritized one girl over the other, at least after making the relationship official. Also, I think it's stupid not to put the option to choose which girl to go with as it happened until now and that the game does it automatically for who knows why.

You are supposed to be in a threesome, so it would be normal to spend time with both, or in the worst case to be able to choose who to be with depending on your tastes, not that the game does it automatically. In my case I prefer Josy, but I'm sorry I'm not going to play the whole game again just because of this. If the game has decided Maya, then so be it.

Which will lead me to think how poorly designed the Maya/Josy path is. In order to access Josy, it seems that you have to choose her all the time, and from the perspective of the story it doesn't make sense. During the previous chapters you spend a lot more time with Josy than with Maya. For example, Josy stays at your house after Maya's father visit. Then, after the HOT party there is also the option for you to end up in bed with her. And to finish you join the gym with her. Meanwhile, Maya hardly appears, and the only time you spend with her is at the dorm party and a little bit at the library. It is logical to make the dates with Maya to compensate, but now it turns out that the game automatically chooses one over the other just because of that.

If there is a way to save the throuple, this may be DPCs way of showing it. Josy is much more emotionally needy than Maya when it comes to the relationship, things have to be skewed in her favor for her to be happy. I haven't played a Josy focus throuple yet in the new episode but I've read that she hints/impies/ or even outright says that she would prefer a regular monogamous relationship. If that's the case then her finding out that MC has already confessed his feelings to Maya may make her consider making the throuple situation work for her in order to be close to the two people she cares for.
I think a lot of people just put their own expectations oh what should be, as the only possible route and everything else is just "bad writing" or wrong. We will just have to wait another couple years before we have a clue lol.

Yes, updating the mod to the latest version will solve the issue.

Compared to ep10 there are more scenes in ep11 - 18 place 16. In ep10, 3 scenes were scenes with Madam and there were many short scenes. In ep11 the scenes are longer and there are more of them.
If he keeps the number of scenes( 18) and there will be about the same animation speed, I guess the game will be released in summer 2026. always86 predicted the game will be released in summer 2026.

For those who got problem/crash during Lana scene, Here fix:
If you are using Sanchomod mod : Open console shift+o and paste : persistent.mod_wt_enabled = None
If you have "color text issue" : paste into console m_c_text = u'{color=#08c23}' and m_c3 = u'{color=#DF00F1}' or (depends on the previous installed mods) mod_gr = u'{color=#32BD73}'
Btw another guy already posted the color text issue, so all credit to him.

If that's the case then her finding out that MC has already confessed his feelings to Maya may make her consider making the throuple situation work for her in order to be close to the two people she cares for.

Regarding Josy's comments this episode, I haven't seen her solo scene but I have read the script for it. If the lines I've seen are what people referring to as Josy outright saying she prefers monogamy, I suspect people are misinterpreting what she says.

The lines I think people are referring to:

Josy: "Don't take this the wrong way, but I like it when it's just us."
Josy: "I feel like our talks are deeper when we're alone."
Josy: "I mean, about you and me. When we talk about us and such."

Even in a happy poly relationship, there's the larger relationship as a whole but also it's composed of multiple smaller two-person relationships (a "dyad") that also need care and attention. It's perfectly normal and healthy for a dyad to spend time one-on-one, and when doing so for talks about their dyad to be deeper. The two people may feel more focused on each other and for their to be fewer potential inhibitions about saying difficult or embarrassing things compared to when others are there too. Maya and Josy have just this type of one-on-one discussion about their dyad at the end of Bella's party, for example. And that's potentially a very healthy thing for the relationship.

Now, I could just be seeing what I want to see. It also wouldn't surprise me if these comments are dual-purpose (that is, both to add some poly realism for people that "save" the throuple and to foreshadow potential solo paths for people that break it). But to me it's not hard evidence that she prefers monogamy full-time.

Yeah, the only thing I worry is that we are nearly at the end of the game and she won't have much time for proper progress compared to other characters.

By the way... I forgot but at the Christmas party we have bowl mission to dress up like the Santa or give it to Tommy. Did I miss something or actually we cannot give it to Tommy and in fact this is just solo/relationship safety check decision?

I ask myself that about a lot of developments, Maya and Josy still have not broken up and are even like "lets keep trying somehow" even on a feelings for josy path. How many meaningful relationship development can there really be on a solo maya or josy path when they just finally breap up by episode 13 or 14?

The whole throuple development is kinda annoying for me in general, josy is right when she mentions "their talks are deeper when its just the two of them", its what it feels like since the very beginning.

Whenever its the three of them together, everything is shallow, the talks and even the sex. Its just when MC is with either josy or maya alone that its deep and with emotions/feelings involved.

One of the girls being unhappy no matter what you do this episode didnt helped either and makes it feel more and more like the throuple is the supposed way for a single ending with either maya or josy but not really both.

It even felt a bit like DPC was self-inserting himself and his views in Neil explaining us greedy players "Son, you cant love multiple women equally" while the player was throwing a tantrum crying "but i want my hare.. uhh throuple!! i love them aaaalllll!!!!"


About the tommy mission: tremolo just leaves the mission there, so tommy maybe picked it up and did it while tremolo was busy with other stuff

I don't have a save at the end of 10, so I am currently playing ep9 on my Zoey save(feelings for Josy) will see what I get once I reach ep11.

They don't break up but Josy does talk about her feelings and what MC said to her. She also admits what happened during the castle party in her and Heather's room.

Like in every route it's mostly Maya who says she wants to try better to make Josy really fall in love with her again and be better at communicating, but we really get the feeling that if you tell Josy that you still think about her all the time, J&M are doomed to fail and that Josy will either be single but probably be in a monogamous relationship with MC in the future.

Youre saying Josy is more emotionally needy and therefore to make the throuple work we need to spend most of the time with maya to make josy accept that best she can get is being the third wheel lol. This sounds like a recipe for absolute disaster. If any this sounds like a surefire way to go for a solo maya playthrough.

All of these feelings and intentions would be wrong for a healthy relationship and it would be way better for Josy to dip in that case.

Ah, that's fair I guess, I felt that Quinn was giving off the feeling that she was an independent rather than being attached to buddys group/crew, maybe the author was also including that feeling of Quinn breaking away in the storyline.

If you have done everything, then the down arrow on screen when on the coach map should let you end free roam.
