Hm, so that was peisode 11... well, for the most part at least. Got my others playthrough for Nicole and Rio, which was very dissapointing cause both werent really part of the episode. But that wasnt really a surprise, cause the sidegirls get most of the time a "skip episode" and alternate between them... so next episode will be for sure more nicole and rio, but less Camilla and others... so yeah. My prefered others route was more or less a waste of time. Was surpised thought that DPC decided to go down a dark road like that with Rio. Well, he wants to keep the fire burning on those theories that this gamer will go a road down like Acting Lesson i guess, but it will not... And of course, another asshole move by quinn, fetching Rios Phone and calling the cops with it... i really dont like her at all. Still will make a dik playthrough for quinn just out of curiosity, but not that soon.
Jill got the most attention as it seems, good for me, her path is my favorite. (Favoirite girl is Josy though, but the J&M path has many flaws i dont like, and they carry on in ep 11) HUGE episode for the Jill-path... a lot of content and revelations. And oh boy a huge step Jill is making in her development. Her playfulness and carelessness is so nice to see. Love that route in episode 11. And its set the bar even higher for my favorite route, no other path can reach that.
J&M was... hm... strange. I dont like it that you try to get an "equal" palythrough with them, and they are even happy if you succeed in that at the end of episode 9, but the outcome in episode 11 is NOT equal at all. As it seems all depends on your choice which girl you visit in episode 7 (didnt tested that out, but its kinda obvious, cause other changes depend on that choice too, episode 7 is the branching point for J&M), visit Maya and she will say i love you to the MC in ep11 and no Josy Solo Scene. Dont like that. It doesnt look like DPC is planning that the throuple will last. Well, we will see... And the forced drama about Josy doesnt feel right either. More or less out of the blue she is totally depressed about "everything"... hm, yeah... it just doesnt fit right. Of course its nothing new that she is somewhat self-concious about some things... her hight, that she comes so fast at sex, and some other things... But questioning her whole existence? A little far fetched. But well, the scenes with J&M were awesome and Maya has developed a lot and i like her much better than in the first 8 episodes. Her loan plot is over now, and as i expected, her father regrets everything and now everything will be good... besides the illness of her mother and her appraoching death, i think it will happen during episode 12 maybe already. The written note on her walker was kinda forshadowing that.
The mingames were too much for me this time, i like them a little challenging, but DPC went a little overboard here. The brawler game got a little easier, but the classes were annoying... really tight timeshedule for the chemical class, so its basically needed to get at least one point from derek there, otherwise no mistakes allowed. And the math game gets kinda ridiculous. A board with hundred possibilities to figure out... i figured them out eventually, but it took a lot of time, way too much, same goes for english class, way too many word combinations for that time frame. And last the partyplanning. I mean, with a fresh playthrough you kinda know what perks you need for episode 11 to get a good result, but without knowing beforehand its nearly impossible to get S-rank. Oh yeah, and good thing i put money into the fishing game at the end of episode 10 so i have a good budget to start with in episode 11... oh wait... the 11$ are gone because Nick is managing the budget and doing nothing for the fish? Argh.

DPC is not really a "David Fincher" storyteller, but come on... he can do better than that after 6 years making this game. That is really disappointing... Magnar, Ron and the nerds... WHO CARES? And what about Burke? Why fucking send the Jade Video to him? Whatever... its so stupid, dont like that at all. Teenage Frat War conspiracy... really stupid move. I guess Sally knows something and that is the reason why she isnt around Magnar anymore, oh and of course she is not smart at all... so everything points in her direction to be the midterm cheater.

Good revelations? Some may think this is too "sudden" but its not... cause it was obvious that she can be a really fun girl and a naughty one too if she is really comfortable around certain people. It surpised me only a "little" bit, and i loved everything about it... But i really missed something about MCs past, again. It really gets ridiculous. I mean, he was in her fucking house in ep10, the very same like on the picture with Jill and his mother, and he didnt asked a single question and it didnt even crossed his mind? and now he has a holidy with bianca, the very same family which sold the house? Its so strange. But DPC doesnt really care for logic, only timing. Those things will be dealt with when DPC wants to, not when the plot has to deal with it.
And this episode should be the nail into the coffin on the absurd "Lily is a undercover cop" theory too... I hope... cause its really stupid. But not DPCs fault. There is no undercover cop operation going on.
The End of episode was not what i expected and i dont like it either, for several reasons. Of course it turned out that nothing REALLY bad happend, Derek being Derek is all there is to the "masacre" teased at the start of episode 9. No surprise here. Never believed that there will be something brutal or big or whatever in that scene. But whats up with the christmas gift- list... so we are putting aside money for the gifts and dont get to see what we baught and how the characers a reacting? WTF? why? And i dont think there will be a nice christmas presents scene after the door-revelation at Bellas. That Bella has some serious psychological porblems is nothing new, its clear to see on several occasions. So yeah... no happy christmans present openings after that scene i guess. So, fuck that list. And the dinner was.... short? Not existent? "cheers" Thumb flying, cliffhanger end... what? Come on, this scene needed to be bigger and longer. A proper Christmans dinner that ends with a bang... not a bang without dinner.
Oh yeah, and it was strange that the panty party preperation free roam was the better free roam than the party itself. No maingirls at the party? wtf? Overall this episode is ok, very long, good playtime (even without minigames, which are really stretching the playtime in this episode to a point of unbareable annoyance) a lot of revelations and aswers and not so much new questions. It seems like episode 12 will be a closure for a lot of things and it looks like season 4 will be more or less a whole "epilogue" season. And as a Jill fan this episode was the best for the Jill path so far. But besides the Jill path the epsiode was not really to my liking. Maybe the Bella and Sage path will make up for the rest besides Jill, i will see. I liked it better than episode 9, but episode 10 was much better in pretty much every regard.
So the waiting game begins anew... nearly 15 months DEV cycle for this episode, considering the amount of content compared to the other episodes this is kind of "reasonable" and i expect the next episode to be even bigger. But my gut feeling tells me, season 4 will be of shorter episodes, much shorter ones. It really looks like season 3 will practically "end" most of the plots, and season 4 will more or less only deal with the relationships with the girls. So maybe season 4 will be faster in development because of less content. I refuse to believe that DPCs wants to work another 10 years on this game until its finished. But well... we will see.
For epsiode 12 i expect a longer DEV cycle than those 15 months though. And we will break the 8000 still renders mark and maybe 450 animations too i guess. So yeah, optimistic guess, late summer 2026. But at least 17 months from now. So... august or september 2026 i think, until then it will get kinda quite here i think, cause there is not much left to create theories out of. Oh yeah... dalli_x wasnt right about a single thing... again, he earned a reward for that i think, i mean... creating theories for about 4 years non stop and not a single one of them were right until now, thats something.

Episode 11: Dark Christmas
(a little bit spoilers, but not critical)
Here comes the end of another long months of waiting for the most ambitious AVN in history. And for the first time I will say – these damn 15 months were worth the result. Episode 11 is what PinkCake warned us about in the intro: “This game is not all about fun and good times”. We still have good times in this episode that give a lot of positive and funny emotions. (a little bit spoilers, but not critical)
But the bad times have come. Game stings us from the very beginning of the episode. Everyone laughed at the cliffhanger of Episode 10: “Lol, another FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK moment, come on guys, nothing will happen to Rio, he’s just hyping up” Not funny anymore, right? The artistically dark renders at the beginning set the tone for “Deathly Hallows” and the piercing on the table, Quinn shocked and crying, tortures that Riona was subjected to throws you into a cold sweat and you realize – that’s it. This is a different game now and DPC is back to making players cry.
For a minute I believed that they really killed Roina.
And we also saw the moment of Lana's death and I will not post this render here, you saw everything yourself. Once I noticed an analogy in DPCs writing with Rowling's books, where each new book was darker and more serious and DPC continues to follow this trend with new episode, and it scary what he can prepare for season final.
As for the story development, this is the richest Episode in new discoveries and advancement of story arcs. There is a lot to say and you can write a whole book, so in short, we learned:
1. How Lana died
2. Who is behind PsyOP against the Frats and is a shadow evil genius - I can not fully understand Magnar's motives.
3. The culmination of the Sage's family collapse and we learned Sage backstory
(I did not see the consequences of the video leak for now, just did 5 main routes)
4. Escalation among the DIKs reaches the limit and we learned that there is no traitor among them (But Nick is still a cunt)
5. Who was responsible for the leaflets Cathy and DIKs, and this is a separate group
6. Quinn effectively closes the drug ring (until the end?)
7. THE STORY ARC OF MAYA'S DEBT IS OVER! HOORAY! What's next?
8. Zoey makes a move and confesses her love to MC: I'll talk about Zoey in a separate post, since we now have two different versions of her personality with different approaches.
9. All the MGs, MC, and Derek now become a group of friends and it finally looks natural - there was never a feeling of uncanny in this episode.
10. THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS IS OPEN. What's in there? Wait another year and a half, loser!
I was glad that DPC didn't forget about fun as well - episode was well balanced between funny/sad moments, but one - Jill's visit to her sister's grave was very heavy emotionally, probably the saddest ever.
Also, it was just a huge content update - the first run took about 7 hours for me, with mini-games on. Mini-games are not so annoying and don't occur so often due to the size of the episode, still - fuck the math test and puzzle box. There were even fewer free-roams than usual on feels, although the panty party is huge - like 2/3 of a Halloween party. Probably due to the large amount of standard readable content. Great balance.
As for the Panty party, this is a fly in the ointment. The thing is that it doesn't work on MGs routes - you can't have fun if you do not want more cheating points and there are a lot of traps. DPC did the right thing with Bella's alternative party - I had much more fun there. Panty Party works in full glory only if manwhore Others run - otherwise it makes no sense.
Best lewds. I've opened 14 out of 18 so far:
1. Josy/Maya BDSM threesome: hot and funny at the same time, as they studied toys without knowing what they were for (laughed) and poor Josy withstood a nut gun.
2. Sage/Camila threesome (for some reason many wrote to me that Sage would be off after that sex, but in my run she was ok.
3. Both of Bella scenes. Good dynamics and speed.

I give this episode 9.5/10 at first glance based on the run of 4 main routes and one Others with a focus on Zoey

Being a DIK is very much inspired by movies like Revenge of the Nerds etc, so this development is perfectly on brand. The only difference is the MC is part of a popular frat instead of the nerd underdogs, so you see that plot from different perspective.
It's not forced. A lot of MC's automatic actions in this episode hinge on whether you told Maya or Josy that you love them.

I believe in all my saves, I didnt get a choice to stay at Panty Party or go to Bella's it forced me to go to Bella's.
Is there a way to decided who you lay with at the end of Bella's party? Or is it based of who you went on a "date" with during Ep11?
