VN Ren'Py Being a DIK [v0.11.1] [DrPinkCake]

Guys! I fell asleep. That’s not the important part, keep reading! My unconscious brain was apparently trying to make sense and logic out things that make no sense in this game. My conscious brain ignores it because I’m not sure that any of this nonsense (or DPC’s writing) has any truly deep reason behind any of it. But, here’s what my sleeping brain thought up in my dream:
We are not being shown everything (again) by DPC. MC and Derek may not be as stupid as they look and are acting.
Derek and MC may have planned ahead and planted their own traps.
1.) why did MC specifically take Sally to Leon’s room? Why did he look straight at that doll unless he already knew there was a camera hidden there? Derek is supposed to be intelligent. Maybe he suspected there is something off with Sally.
2.) The “end” of the Christmas party is not what it seems. Again, Derek planned for this. Set up a whole stupid “fake” scenario where he just happens to cut his finger off. Or did he fake it? Suspecting that they are being followed or watched- he sets the whole scenario up so that the group can catch the real culprit(s) in the act. Someone does seem to be lurking outside, but maybe the one with the jacket is Derek returning (because he faked the finger incident and is perfectly fine).

I woke up before my unconscious could reason what was in the closet.
So, my sleeping brain says Derek and MC are actually really smart and chapter 11 is more brilliant than it seems. My waking brain says this is a load of shit!

Performance is more in line with MGs or even Zoey heck even Jade, whereas For Lily, Quinn, Riona it has to be Tournament.

Chances are Riona isn't interested in violence since what happened to her, not even regulated.

But as a last attempt, just think why would you put answers for a 'Intro to Math' test into a cheat if you are not taking that class or test? The answers for 'Intro to Math' would ONLY be used for a 'Intro to Math' test, not any other test. So why would a cheat have answers for a 'Intro to Math' test? Unless you would usually answer questions about history with '1+1=2'

I get what you are saying dude. You call it notes not cheats. The point is regardless of what you call it anything that helps you during and exam is cheating. And in a RL scenario you will be failed if caught. If its just note you learn from you will get all the help like with the bonus if don't actually study. The notes as you call them are right with MC when he is doing these Exams. Anyway I don't know how we got to the whole cheating thing but you know my view on it and you have your view. Lets leave it at that.

No I think we are thinking about this in different ways - you see for me Im not seeing it as the cheat sheet was specifically a question & answer type of document. Afterall, How would anyone know which questions were appearing on an exam (again this is a plausible explanation that the cheater had indeed seen a question list and built a sheet around it)

but I am thinking more about it being a generic cheat sheet with notes, answers, formulas etc that cover a wide range of maths so could be used to help cheat and find answers to a lot of maths tests

If Magnar is the Elephant in the room it could be either. He can very well make a generic cheat sheet with all the question sampling he did with MC's tests. But we also know he is very good at hacking and could also hack school's computers to access Question papers.

Maybe this is what it's actually happening, I think of cheats as them being made with some tests you would take in mind, with possible questions, formulas and whatnot. And having info on that cheat that include any test you are not taking don't make sense for me.

I still disagree regarding this, but there's not much we can actually do since there's no more info.

Yeah none of us know what went through his head when DPC made these stupid minigames in the first place. So all we have is our opinions.
