That was not the look of fear of what is in the room. That is the look of fear for those two seeing what is in the room. Higly doubtful there is anything to fear in that room. And if you don't like redemption plots, to each their own, but there's nothing wrong with them (e.g. Londo from Babylon 5). In fact, they're actually quite good, as the redeemer is never satisfied trying to absolve themselves, and learns to better themselves. Which I think Quinn seemed to be doing in the end of the episode, with more vindictive methods.

In one of the first Episodes mc takes a glimpse at the (dark) room from angle below the door.

Someone had lightened up the image and posted it here.
I remember some boots for outdoor activities, nothing special.

What do you guys think is behind the locked door in Bella's room? I took a screen shot and brightened the picture, and after seeing what it revealed, I'm inclined to think that James is really there, probably in a catatonic state, sitting in a wheelchair!
