just finished downloading this and I have a question: how straight do you play this game? Is this a game where I'm supposed to hard commit to a side and stick to it or am i supposed to react naturally and sure i'll miss some scenes but I'll still get most of them?

You can pretty much play however you want for most of season 1/2. There will be some canceling out of scenes and consequences (but not that much).

I definitely recommend just playing however you feel for season 1/2, you will need to make a choice of LI/Other towards the end of 1/2, but until then just play how you want.

You can then go back and define your path or paths after that if you want to.

Put it this way:
I'm running 12 different saves and missing scenes because of branching.

Just play and enjoy, chase what you missed later.

I hadn't thought about it. I just chose the answers/actions that seemed right to me or what I would do in reality. The first playthrough of a visual novel, when you don't know all the nuances, is the most sincere.

I agree! I don’t think all this save “training” is how this AVN is meant to be played. I certainly enjoyed the first two seasons when I played it blindly. But, I guess this is what happens when an unfinished game has an increasingly longer development cycle.;)

Yeah, the guy above, ryanevi , showed about the same, without code. Zoey_kiss = 0 is auto-rejection
Best outcome ;)

Ultimately, I'd say this game is meant to be played however you want it. If you want to go with a blind run just picking all decisions you want and letting the chips fall where they may, you can do that. If you want to accept that it's a game where choices will determine how things will go for you and you want to try and craft the path you want, you can do that too.

Yeah, something like that. Although blind playthrough sometimes doesn't give the desired result. I was interested in Riona, but it so happened that the main character started a relationship with Sage in my first and main playthrough. This is neither good nor bad, it's even interesting, because some events are intertwined with each other, putting the main character in a dead end. Well, it all depends on how the author of the game builds a logical chain from the player's choices to their influence on the plot. The better this skill is, the more enjoyable the game is.

Her keeping her dead husband's things in a locked room is one thing. Her blindly believing that her dead husband will come home one day is bordering on dementia. This is not normal at all.
Oh, okay, yeah, that's fair. But I don't think it will go to that level. Some people behave like that, but they don't truly believe it, they just wish it was true

I think it's too early for Bella, but I can see Jill saying the 3 special words in the next episode. Again, this is DPC we're talking about... Bella might drop an L-bomb at the end of EP.12 if the MC can still handle Bella's secrets and demons.
I can handle anything DPC throws at me, even bullshit psycho stuff that won't happen.

No. This is the best outcome
EP.12 will bring tears, but also some laughs and meme content. Jill crying trying to understand how Zoey overcame her 'destiny', Sage beating MC the same way she beat Chad, Josy having a mental breakdown while Maya tries to calm her down, Bella... Bella didn't even acknowledge Zoey's return. Why is that? Either she doesn't care or she'll be taken aback by the fact that MC left her for Zoey.

Bella shouldn't even be a MG... I lost all respect for her when she ssaid yes to a relationship with a teenage dumbass... u_u

srsly though, I really like them ending things in ep8... it feels like a full arc for them.
