I think it was clear DPC was going for a split in the throuple when Neil, who is always supportive of MC, pretty much told MC he was being an idiot and was gonna hurt someone by doing this.

MC reaction to Neil laying that out was pretty annoying as well. Seemed more like a DIK reaction even though when I did it I was full Chick.

To be fair, there were two main reasons imo why Neil reacted that way:
1. Tremolo explained it in a terrible way, about the same way as he told the DIKs
2. The girls weren't there with him, so Neil couldn't see for himself if there was any true chemistry between the 3 of them.

True, MC do be dumb as fuck sometimes.

He'd probably still say something similar I think, especially after hearing about the troubles Maya has had and the fact MC was crushing on Josy before going to college. A lot of complications in that relationship and I don't blame him for being worried.

TC has got nothing to do with it. If you don't say "I love you" on the date with Josy or Maya, or they don't say it back, you can choose between going to Bella or staying at the party.

If only his grandfather would've forced Neil for Tremolo to live with him... His life (including social life) would've been completely different.

Not to mention that it's established at least thrice that in general even Derek has more common sense (when semi-sober, excluding the saber-event) than MC.
1. Derek shames MC for cheating if MC chooses to do so during the exams, because it's simply a dumb thing to do.
2. Derek advices MC to get as far away as possible from both Sage and Jade if you're on both routes.
3. Derek recognizes the "free RAM" as fake, while MC has no problem clicking it.
