Here, especially for you. This is a sentence from DPC (Pink) Q&As 2025.
"I can look up every variable fast and easily in the code, and then think about how to use them."
When questions relate to the mechanics of the game or aspects of his work, he fools around with people asking such questions.

Each variable (well, almost) leads to something or affects something. Otherwise, it makes no sense to keep and save it. There are temporary variables that are discarded and no longer used (as an example, variables from 1-2 that were discarded after exporting to season 3). And there're more or less longterm ones.

The problem with his answer to this particular question is that he's being blatantly disingenuous and not telling important things at all.

When you create an episode, write scenes (dialogues and code for them), you put variables here and there. You, as creator, immediately understand and know in advance the meaning of each decision and its consequences (or at least plan it) and the possibility of somehow preserving/verifying/transforming them by combining several variables when time come. If a variable is saved during making some choice/decision, then later (in this or next episodes) it will be used somehow (90%).

Also, I will never believe that he reads the code (literally, with his eyes) of previous episodes and seasons, just to find some variable he wants or thinks of. It would be possible for some small game, but not for a project that he has been working on for the 6th year, which has 11 episodes and 3 seasons. If even an ordinary player can pull out and systematize all these variables from the game files and code (which is not protected in any way) and even make a kind of dependency tree from those. Considering it all, you really believe that author of the game manually looks through the old code several times a day to dig up something and does not have a banal list of his game/code variables? Well It's just naive.

Note that he never fully and thoroughly answers technical questions or those that at least minimally relate to his work, or rather how it is organized. Otherwise, there are no secrets here, without structured schemas, lists of variables and other things, it is impossible to work on such a huge project. This both makes no sense, because at first, it significantly reduces productivity, and for second, it's simply impossible due to the size of this project. And DPC constantly reminds us that his workflow is optimized as much as possible. Optimizing and manually digging through the code to find something are not very compatible things, right?

So I don't know why you mentioned me and what you wanted to hint at with this quote. You tried to convince me before that variables are not that important and that DPC may/can change anything anytime. Both in public and in private. I still will say and insist that variables are the most important part of game mechanics, especially AVNs/RenPy games and any other game on any other engine where your (player) decisions really matter and lead to consequences. Bc, they have to be tracked somehow. And like you it or not, it's only possible through saving the variables, for now. You won't change anything in the past episodes, seasons, etc, until you release the patch. And the only thing(s) he had changed so far in S3 was the obvious errors in the code and/or variables handling. Like counting correctly the Quinn scene during CUM-petition in J&M branch. He even didn't change any variable, he changed how scenes counted. He didn't made it intentionally, it was a banal error from him, which he corrected with a bunch of other errors here and there. I mentioning this, since it was your favorite example intended to convince me god knows what for.

Six different endings come to mind right off the bat: Isabella, Jill, JM, Josy, Maya, Sage, and Others.
I think Zoey's ending is confirmed. DPC said the side girls could be LI, so there will be other options. Quinn, Lily, Riona, and Nicole have come too far for their stories to end in nothing.
But on another branch, where you never experience them, a completely different meaning can emerge.
I'll be very disappointed if you're right. The same events should give the same result no matter how you play, otherwise common sense will be destroyed.

Darkwen Josy and Maya had just spoken, and they both agreed to wait until after the party. At the end of the conversation, they also agreed to give it a try.

What did Josy say to Maya in EP4? Even if she didn't show it, deep down she loves Maya. What did Maya say to the MC in EP4? Let's never argue again. In EP11, Maya and Josy didn't argue, but started to communicate properly.
The problem is they never actually do what they talk about, 5,8,9 and now 11 Josy and Maya talk about communication yet they 0 for 3. They didn't say but lets wait after the party to start it like they just forgot everything they just said. Josy made it pretty clear she not feeling the love she used to have for Maya there relationship is in such a bad place at least they talk about there feelings. Maybe a mc that hasn't said I love you yet could save it save it or date both but favoring and a I love you going one way

Status update Episode 12

Short update today.

I've been writing and working on lewd scenes this week. I'm working on my 4th and 5th lewd scenes for episode 12 and will continue working on them until they are complete.

What can be said about these five lewd scenes without spoiling? Hm... There are six girls total for those scenes, and none of the girls had a lewd scene in episode 11. That should spark some conversation.

Next week, I'll continue working on animations and building a bigger render queue. Now that the Q&As are posted, episode 12 finally has my undivided attention.

Tomorrow marks my 7th anniversary on Patreon. As I'm busy getting Episode 12 development up and running smoothly, I haven't got anything prepared for the occasion. Thanks for your support throughout these seven years!

Happy Easter and have a great weekend!

What really change are your relationship with the girls and the way your MC chose to react. The rest are immovable facts.

For example, if you play Isabella or Jill paths you will get some extra informations about what they did in the past. You won't see it on another path but it doesn't mean it's that what happened between them is not canon on your M&J path. It happened anyway, the only difference is that you ain't gonna learn anything about it.

On the others path, you will get extra informations about Lily's background and how she became the way she is, Quinn can tell you how her father died, how she was placed in an adoptive family, how she met Riona and started her drugs dealing. Everything Lily & Quinn will narrate is still canon in any paths. You won't learn anything about it if you're not on their path but it still happened, it's part of their past and their characters.

On Sage path she will learn from Jade's mouth that Burke never really wants her. She opened to the MC about it on her path. You may not see it on your M&J path but it doesn't mean that the way Burke saw Sage is any different.

By playing only your M&J path, you miss a lot of informations about different characters. Informations still canon. You can't really properly analyze what DPC gave you because you miss pieces of informations you should get to have a full insight. Some theories you made aren't coherent with things we saw and learned from other LI paths than M&J.
Too much information dilutes an analysis. Honestly. I'm not interested in Quinn's, Lily's, Isabella's, etc., past, and such details are irrelevant to my game. It only becomes interesting when they cross my playthrough. But then I get the relevant information.

Your analysis is completely wrong, and the reason is simple. Elena still asked the MC who X was. But my MC goes to Isabella and can't find X and tell Elena. Therefore, your screenshots are completely misinformed about the story of my M&J branch. And that's exactly what happens when you play multiple branches.

Let's take Sage's example. Sure, Jade won't tell the MC on the M&J branch personally, but through Stephen's flashback, I learn what I need to know. In Stephen's flashback, which is absolutely canon, he says himself, so he couldn't form a proper bond with his children. Be it because he grew up in a home where feelings weren't discussed, or because he's concerned about the influence his adopted children have already had from their biological parents. Stephen himself told his psychiatrist this. But a bitter woman (Jade), who is on the verge of divorce, will tell her children everything, including lies. Believe me, this is so Stephen will see clearly, so Sage will be a good daughter, and Sage will be able to keep her father. But here you can see for yourself how the branches can lead to different information.

One branch's information is another branch's misinformation.

So you think DPC (Pink, he likes being called that) is deliberately lying in his Q&As. What you wrote cannot, may not, and should not be answered.

That's exactly why I'm only playing one branch, and when BaDIK is finished in a few years, I'll play through another one, and then another one after that. Worth replaying.

Believe me, Josy still loves Maya, and Maya still loves Josy. The only problem is, before EP11, Maya made Josy feel needed, and Josy loses that feeling in EP11 because Maya has her situation under control and has become more confident. Josy is afraid, and she expressed this fear in EP5. She's afraid of losing both Maya and the MC.

That's exactly why it's so important for the MC to tell Josy he loves her in EP11. Maya doesn't know anything about Josy's blog in EP11, but that will likely change in EP12. I'm assuming Maya will support Josy with her blog. This could rekindle their love for each other.

Ok MC tells Josy he loves her but then you can't do the same for Maya in same playthrough you have to do a separate pt which kinda means no more throuple or save the ILY for later down the road and say it both of em
