Really? I know what a beard is, as do most people. Straight people, gay people, young and old. It's not a deep dark secret thing. It was really common in Hollywood in the 40s-50s, as being Gay was not acceptable to the general public, and it would have ruined actor's careers.

MC didn't know, because he was extremely sheltered in terms of media access, only listened to music, had no TV, and couldn't afford to go to the movies.

Are you telling me that you never heard of what a "beard" meant for gay people?
To be honest, I didn't know either. It wasn't until I read it in BaDIK that I googled it.

I gotta admit, I've had a deeply depraved and decadent life in my youth, and knew all about this for a long time. While I grew up homophobic, my cousin and some friends when I was a teen were gay, and I learned better. I also am avidly into acting and theater, and film and showbiz history. I grew up in New York City, where gay culture is pretty huge.

I'm not denying it, so she only tells the MC about the Beard Agreement when the MC tells her about Chad and Troy. But that's irrelevant; Josy knows what a Beard Agreement is, whether she tells it or not. I don't see it as a big deal. It depends on what DPC (Pink) makes of it.

Maya doesn't change the story that much in the first season. Maya first says she needs to call her boyfriend. Only, by boyfriend, she meant Josy. Learn to look properly.

Maya does change her story a lot, it doesn't matter that Josy knows what a bread is only she suggest it if MC tells her about Chad and Troy.
I have no clue what your talking about friend. Josy and Maya was never trying to get Patrick to end there relationship that is just nuts, before ep3 they haven't seen each other in over two months and had been fighting before Patrick even try anything. This is the craziest fan fiction you've come up with .

I have nothing against gays or lesbians. There are several gay and gender-neutral people in my circle of friends. However, I had never heard of a Beard Agreement before BaDIK. Personally, I find it ridiculous that such a thing even exists, because I don't condemn homosexuals or gender issues.

Sure... :cautious:
Careful guys, Dalli's probably telling his buddy Pink everything.
If Dalli told Pink about anything from here, they'd no longer be buddies! :ROFLMAO:

As far as I know, it has been going on since at least the 17th century, when being homosexual was illegal, and could also get you killed.

But we live in the 21st century.

DPC (Pink) wrote in his Q&A that he'd prefer to be called Pink. I respect that, and so I'm writing DPC for you and (Pink) for Pink.
There's just one thing I can't put together, it wasn't his mom and dad who named him DPC, right?
He came up with it himself.
But now he prefers to be called Pink...
Why didn't he take that nickname from the start?
Something doesn't add up here.

You were born after 2000, right? Back in the 90s, faggot was a popular slur even in movies, and gays were only seen as comedic characters.
