The restaurant and prostitution ring idea was crap at first. DPC could have provided down to fuck college girls and it would have worked -it's a porn game after all. The stigma of prostitutes turned off some players, who saw these girls as untouchables (but that was 2018-19, you know which brigade wasn't vocal back then, so I'm not judge him for that. You never know how gaming culture can change in several years).
But the worst part is the ending of this arc, prostitution ring was just thrown out in Ep.10 with no consequences for the player and the rest of involved. I'll only start believing this if DPC will engage a plot twist where Burke has to pay for his crimes.

True enough. I've been through the whole title many times and I've never went the restaurant route... helps that I also hate Quinn's guts so I won't do her lines either. Not saying folks shouldn't use a "Dial a Ho" service but that's the kind of content I avoid if possible. Spot on.

DPC took that storyline from an episode of Blue Bloods. Season 4 to be exact, it made me say "wait a minute" when I watched that episode. The only difference is a college professor was murdered. There's always time for Burke to be murdered.

I don't have a problem with sex workers, I just think it's a potential risk for a big shitstorm. When I first started BaDIK a few years ago, I didn't care and just wanted some easy sex scenes, but after I got more attached to the characters and started to know them better, seeing them as such well-made, no-restaurant became my canon.
