I wonder that myself. The world is just not fair. I want it so much for her to have a larger role instead of just a fuckbuddy with no story (besides her introductory scene, her cameo during the Sage dinner and a couple of her text messages) at all.

Not well, since we know of her hatred/dislike of strippers. Maybe she already knows in her subconsious Madame is her mother, considering she can't remember much and has said she has some sort of mental block when it comes to looking up more information about her mother. The same kind of mental block could've made her forget that her mother is/was a stripper.
She also remembers certain smells like burnt wood and pinecodes. She thinks it's because they were outdoors much, but it's just as likely that her mother used a lot of incense sticks, which is (according to movies I've seen) pretty common in bordellos and vip areas of stip clubs.
