Hamilton did have a railroad station, but it sure as hell didn't go to the west coast.
The idea of a direct interstate train connection with San Diego that's both reasonably fast and cheaper than plane travel sounds outright utopian no matter how you look at it. It's probably just a little bit of Scandinavian influence that's slipped into the game and DPC not quite grasping how huge USA is. Although, I'm sure even in Sweden you'd have more comfortable means for travelling between towns than the Toronto subway train Zoey took :LUL:. That shit's only good enough for taking you to the nearest airport, which would honestly be 10 times more believable.

Guys I got stuck in a choice. Help me go through this. Does smoking weed affects any of the other girls relationship? And seeing everyone is concerned about this Zoey chick, does going back to her worth it?

Either that, or Zoey has fear of flying :KEK:

But yeah, traveling by train is quite normal here in europe, even for distances of about 500-600 kilometers. Also I know Americans loveto drive by car/land (during my trip there I had no problem driving from Las Vegas to LA and I've heard it's quite normal for people to do there), but from Hamilton to San Diego is a completely different story :KEK:

Smoking weed currently doesn't affect anything other than dialogue with some girls/on some routes (like Jill and Zoey), the ability to have sex on the roof with Quinn (mandatory for her path) and the ability to use mushrooms on neutral affinity in episode 10.

Maybe she took a couple different trains, idk. Or it's a magic train :KEK:

Smoking weed is required for Quinn's path, otherwise it plays no real role with anyone else. Jill can be worried about it and Zoey can comment on it.
Going back to Zoey is only worth it if you like Zoey (or are a completionist).

If it's fiction, then it doesn't need to be somewhere realistically close by :HideThePain:

Towards the end, around the time of the photoshoot with Emma.
OK, I've found the page and unlocked the vault, but... apart the green writing "Vault Unlocked" what does it unlock? I've checked in the Gallery/Rewards but I got no yellow esclamation mark to signal a new unlocked render.

I don't think Zoey would be able to get by with drawing pictures on the TTC seat dividers (unless it was the 80s, or something way before 2011, which was when they got their newer looking trains.) Those seats look ancient.

Maybe more American metro/subway trains have an older look where graffiti is common? And I doubt it would travel through multiple states. She might eventually transfer to the Amtrak, which would be cheaper than flying, and does go to San Diego.

I think she mentioned going to go surfing in Miami back in Ep 3 flashback? Which is the other side of the country...

"These renders are in the vault. You can unlock it from Zoey's notebook after the
beach photo session; it's on the last page of the notebook. Enter the code 2575
to unlock it. The vault will also unlock any 2D wallpaper not unlocked in Season
2.
"
I'm guessing you already had them unlocked.
My reaction to you making sense: :KEK:

The problem is: Zoey is just a thing to forgive. The MC has clearly moved on; the story isn't about Zoey. Her arc was done. Any sane male going through 1st year of college and having women coming at him from every direction wouldn't care about some wanna-be-ex wanting to be de facto girlfriend #1.

But because DPC wants people to have freedom to choose a LI, apparently even after a Crossroads choice, the slice of life "main" plot just keeps going on -- whatever that's supposed to be. Which is still going to alienate Zoey -- or suddenly she becomes part of the "main five" -- and everyone magically gets along?

We have to use the term "paths" now instead of MGs, since Zoey can be a ILY option, which implies monogamy or at least dedication. And her story has nothing to do with...what's been going on so far.

Now, if Zoey becomes an Others Queen, that's another story, but making her out to be an apologetic puppy, doesn't share itself to a Quinn outlook to relationships, or a Sage-lite.

Zoey: "Hey, I'm your #1 girlfriend now. You can still see Others. Also, threesomes." <-- what should've happened if she's this late in the game.
That's why I asked the rhetorical question of whether DPC could have written her integration back into the story a little better. But clearly, there's more to the story than Zoey coming in just to cause chaos and destroy the relationships he's built on MG paths so far.

It is true that the railroad in the USA is rather poorly developed compared to Europe and people prefer to travel by car or jets. This train with only seats is good for Europe, where short distances and trains travel at speeds 200-400 km/h, but not for America. DPC simply transferred the European experience to the game.
