The calendar in Maya's room says 2017 at first, then gets changed to 2020, then back to 2017. Given DPC made a choice to go BACK to 2017 (or seems to have done so), that is the most likely year.

It's a messed up asset settings in DAZ (of better to say - unadjusted, default ones). In BADIK universe there's 2017. While making EP6 DPC forgot to adjust date (year) on calendar asset, so it appeared as 2020 in render(s). Dalli would say that it's not just a coincidence or a fuck up on a DPC side, but we'd seen a scene, which happened 3 years later in the game or something like that. But it's Dalli... DPC worked on EP6 in 2020 - if some need more proof that this was a pure mistake on his side ("Mr. Perfect" side). In EP11 it's a 2017 again - as it should be. And we're moving to 2018 after the New Year in BADIK universe.

Since we can't obtain 4K original render from EP11:

It's anyway clearly seen that 7 is the last digit. It's not a zero.

Have you guys checked the original Daz asset to see that baby chair there? if that's not there in the Daz asset and DPC placed it there, yeah its basically confirmed that locked room is a child room that never born or passed.
I couldn't find it after a quick search, but I think DPC heavily edits at least some of the room assets he uses and I'd be surprised if he overlooked the mirror and baby ladder, since they're not a minor detail, like let's say a bottle of shampoo.

My theory is 'safe' and probably very common - I think it's a 'memory' room - James's old stuff, baby stuff, possibly something related to her parents as well. The contents have to be universally shocking enough to justify MC's and Maya's reaction from the E11 cliffhanger (on and off Bella's route), so a crib in the middle of the room could possibly do the trick. Bella's slowly opening up to MC about her past if we're on her path, so it'd make (at least some) sense.

Maybe it was a mistake by DPC, maybe not.

DPC simply overlooked it? Rather unlikely, considering that DPC corrects even the smallest mistake he discovers. Now you're thinking again, it's because he simply hasn't discovered it yet. But there have been several discussions about this in the past, and I assume it's because DPC visits and reads this thread. Personally, I save things that I use repeatedly. That's the easiest way. So, up until EP6, for that one scene, DPC has the date set to 2017. So it's fair to assume that's how he saved Maya's room. So if he used this save repeatedly up until EP6, I wonder why he didn't do it for that one scene. Therefore, it's safe to assume it was intentional.

I also find it interesting that Derek hints at the end of EP10 that he might be leaving college, and Josy hints at this in EP11 as well. What if they really do leave in later episodes and come back at the end? How much time has passed then?

In EP1, we learn that Maya is waiting for Derek to meet an exchange student. Have you ever thought that the MC himself could be the exchange student?

Yes, you're right that later on, 2017 will be on the calendar again. But just consider what Josy hints at in EP6. Threesome sex is nothing unusual for Josy. Either Josy has watched too much porn or she experienced it. If she did, I wonder when it was and with whom?

Have you ever thought that the whole scene between Josy and Maya in EP6, where 2020 is on the calendar, could be a preview. There's no smooth transition to the following scene.

By the way, we have the same thing in EP2. Tommy asks Rusty if he can ask Quinn, even though in the scene immediately before, Tommy was in his room with Quinn and another person. Quinn had the new drug with him, if you remember that. Two questions remain? Why would Rusty ask Quinn, and why was Quinn wearing different clothes in Tommy's room than during the Cum Petition? A flashback or a preview?

There are many scenes in BaDIK that point to a temporal irradiation. My guess is that everything will start from EP 12, when the MC sees Bella's room. Why is that?

Well, Isabella doesn't want the MC to open that door, and she has from the very beginning. In EP5, it's hinted that Jill has already been in that room—otherwise, why would she be surprised? So, one can conclude that the MC is the only one who shouldn't see that room. In EP11, Maya is startled when she enters the room. I suspect it's so that there's a picture of the MC with his LI inside, which will be relatively revealing. In EP11, Jacob's easel is covered, so we can't see what he's painting. A Christmas present? Of course, Maya is startled first and looks at the MC. The MC isn't startled by the picture, but rather by it, so that he can recognize the room itself.
Even though one could argue there are hints of Bella suffering from a mental illness of sorts (related to/caused by James's disappearance), I don't think it's going that far.

Why would she want a painting of MC with his LI in the first place, especially if we didn't even start her path?
How would she know of Jacob and his hobby, if not on her route? We don't get to see every conversation characters have and off-path MC still has a buddy-buddy relationship with Bella ('haircut and lunch'), so technically it could come up in one of the conversations but still, why would Jacob even agree to paint it in the first place? He'd surely find that at least odd.

I'd like to add something to my previous spoiler.

We have a preview showing Bella and James. In the background, there are two guys carrying a box. What if the guys are delivering a nursery? The MC lives with the Roberts until a certain point. His nursery becomes too small for him, and he needs a proper child's room. The MC only got to enjoy it briefly, and then he was taken away from his familiar surroundings. This was a traumatic event, and the MC blocked it from his memory for the rest of his life, until he enters this room at the age of 19.
Why would he though? There is a theory that Bella might've known Lynette, but to go from that to MC living with Bella as an infant is entering a bit of dangerous territory.
+ I don't think DPC would go for that convoluted of a plot :KEK:

Josy never does anything wrong she always right
she got railed by a dude when she was in a relationship with a woman. What she sneezed, fell, a hurricane flew by and took all her clothes off and landed on his dick?

I would think it very unlikely for Josy to had have a 3some before meeting MC. While Josy has sexual experience she doesn't have a lot when we first meet her. Josy gives the feeling when she had been with a guy before it didn't go well until MC. I think that takes a 3some off the table
