I'm almost certainly not the first to consider it but I had these thoughts a while back about Bella:So, in Chapter 3, does anyone think that kissing Bella in the library may be a time bomb like Jade’s handjob? “The real reasons to her tears… and to her persona… I wouldn’t have kissed her that night. I would have called out for help.”
It just sounds so foreboding. Either Bella’s secret is really going to knock us for a loop, or this will, by far, be a plot point that falls flatter than Maya’s resolution.
Has it ever been suggested before that it was a combination?
Bella heard that her husband was MIA while she was pregnant and then had a miscarriage.
Double whammy of trauma.
Now she is waiting for him to come home to "fix" everything.
I think the library scene (although very uncomfortable) is just to show the player that she is very much not okay and has a huge amount of trauma from her past.
Nobody knows for sure what is behind the locked door but it will be the catalyst to finally getting some of those answers.

It's certainly ominous and there is a lot for the game to live up to there, but I don't think it'll be the kind of time bomb Jade is. Jade's handy is a major choice. The game straight up warns you that there are going to be consequences. Kissing Bella in the library isn't even really a choice. The choice that leads to it is whether to go see her after talking to Jill. Or it will block something very specific. Jade's handjob doesn't block Sage's path, it blocks the ILY variant. And I don't expect it to affect other paths at all except in the sense of keeping a path completely pure. Showing Jade's video to the DIKs on the other hand is a much bigger time bomb and completely optional. That one I expect to ruin Bella's and Jill's paths as well. The throuple is safe because it blocks you from having the video in the first place, but if Maya's and Josy's solo paths will be available through the Others path, I expect showing Jade's video will ruin those too.

Well each, for the past couple of updates each have 30k renders or there abouts. Lots of minigames, and lots of branching. Which is several times more content than that of his rivals in the avn scene. He also has 9 pcs all loaded up with top of the line gear that constantly render stills and animations daily. So, essentially he has the work power of 9 people working on the go at once. One of the main reasons the dev time gets longer and longer is because he wants to do a minute long 60 fps animations for a lot of scenes.Which is 3600 still renders for one scene which, using 4090s would take, roughly, 130 hours to render. Of which there are -many-. So it all stacks up. DPC isn't a lazy dev, he is an overachieving dev and always wants to do more with each successive update. That is the main problem. He doesn't know when to stop really.

9 PCs running and rendering? Wait, is that serious? I've already realized he loves what he does since any other dev would just be sitting around doing nothing and making tons of money like most of the games that appear on this site, especially when they want to be as complex as Being a DIK, It seems like he really loves what he do, he have stories to tell and is focused on finishing them.
