As for the tables, chairs, and the room, well, DPC can quite obviously just duplicate the tables and chairs as much as he needs and he can expand the room size. Both are pretty easy to do in DAZ and kinda what logic dictates he would do to be able to make the space big enough. But also, again, this is not the only room for this NYE ball/party becuse it's "new environments", and knowing DPC he's probably done something of a modular thing as he tends to do and mashed up a few different environments to all be connected to each other and people will be milling about all of these and not just entirely concentrated in this one area.

Fact is, this is going to be the NYE ball/party. People hiring out function rooms for a big NYE event is not unusual even for people of this age and it's 100% going to be what's happening here because it pretty much looks exactly like what such a thing would look like and it's also clearly the next party event after Christmas.

Ever considered that the MC might have been invited to a New Year's Eve ball because he made various contacts at the college Christmas party? Whether it's through family connections or because he's being paid to perform at a New Year's Eve ball.

You're missing so many points.

The first is that it's so damn obvious this is a NYE party because it's literally the next biggest social event on the calendar and they already did Christmas.

The second is that, like I keep repeatedly saying, this kind of event is common for NYE because it is considered a more special time than just any old party night. People get dressed up nicer and go to big functions, either ones they've organised themselves or ones that that can be booked at hotels and function halls where they have a meal or a buffet, drinks, a band or a DJ, and then ring in the new year. NYE is generally treated by many as a more lavish and classier affair and considering B&R is considered an esteemed college, this is right up their alley.

The last thing is that we the player do the party planning, we've been doing it all season and we'll do it again in Ep 12. So this will be a party that's organised by us the player. Maybe it will even be the MC organising this party with the HOTs and the Jocks as a way to mend fences and cool tensions by having a joint party so that nobody has to fight over who gets the HOTs. We already saw him in Ep 10 sit down with Derek, Leon, and Jamie to organise Thanksgiving, I could easily see him sitting down with Sage, Dawe, Chad, Rusty, and Tommy to organise the NYE party.

Also, "he made various contacts at the college Christmas party"? What the hell are you talking about? The Christmas party was a debaucherous panty party that he might not even have stayed at the whole time. He didn't make any "contacts" there. Unless you're still stuck on this idea that he'll be at both the faculty event and the fight tournament which he will not, or that you still think there's going to be another Christmas party which there won't be.

This is going to be the NYE party, it's pretty much set in stone and it's so blindingly obvious to everyone that I honestly don't know why you keep insisting it's not :rolleyes:
