The DIK/CHICK thing, while it never goes away entirely, gets less significant as the game progresses, with your chosen relationship having more impact on what scenes you see in Season 3.

There is no harem so you can't get all the girls. You will have to make choices at some point. I think generally speaking for the main girls, chick affinity is better for Jill and bella. For maya and josy would be chick or neutral and for sage dik.
