The final episode will be massive, I don't think we can consider that as any other previous episode. It will take him a lot of time to develop, two years probably. He'll have all the path closings to manage, and much longer useless cutscenes of course. Maybe he'll split it into two parts, I don't know. I don't think we'll see the end before 2031.

Haha no he said that two years ago - last year he said he wasnt giving an episode count like 13, 14 or 15 because he doesn't know how he's splitting the endings. So yeah DPC does say alot of things he also changes his mind alot but I think he genuinely doesn't know anymore - he COULD for example end pretty much everything with episode 12 - and then just go into season 4 with needing to tie up a little and show where people go in and an ending/epilogue way - possibly originally thought that would take 2 episodes like Acting Lessons, hence the 14 - but BADIK is obviously a lot bigger than AL so hes likely worked out that he wont be able to or cant do it similar to how he brought Acting Lessons Home

So I thought I'd play some Monkey Island to take my mind off BADIK, but it kind of backfired as Elena and Elaine are really similar names and John BOY and GUYbrush share a little something too. So now I can't unsee it and John Boy's last name being Meatfood is part of my headcanon. Also if there really will be a way to steal Elena from him I'm playing that run as Chuck Anderson.

The only problem with the idea of Josy loving MC unconditionally no matter what is in Episode 11, where she can actually fail to reciprocate the "I Love You" if you don't have enough RP

It's obviously a story vs mechanic thing, but it's weird.

Yeah, as long as it still relies on accumulating a certain number of "points" to trigger scenarios, this situation is indeed unavoidable, and I suppose it's not just this game where this occurs...
And Spock, by the way, I have something to ask you. When I just downloaded S3, the 'Jacob scene' at the start of Ep9 also kept crashing. I downloaded the mod as you suggested, but I heard people say that when new chapters are released, DPC might implement some anti-Mod measures? If I just use this mod as a patch without actually utilizing any features (like adjusting those points or anything), will these saves still work in Ep12?

Once you use a mod, unless the modder also has a save fixer, you need to keep using them or else your saves are fucked. But mods are usually updated a few days after release, so it’s not the worst thing in the world.

I'll keep some save files from the end of S2 (I didn't use mods in S1&2), and when Ep12 is released, I'll download a complete version of S3 to see if things improve... Thanks, Spock.

Since we're still months away from Episode 12, you could always try to wean yourself off mods and use URM instead.
