In theory, I agree. In practice I find most female protagonist games are all about corrupting the protagonist - with very little attention spared for what happens if the MC resists said corruption.
It doesn't have to be that way - you could just as easily make a game like BaDIK where a female MC explores her sexuality in general - but clearly that's not the current zeitgeist.

Having said that, there is a female protag game called Lust Campus or something like that that is not about corrupting the MC. There are many ways to play such a game, some are just here for fapping material and don't care about the story. Don't forget taht many players here are still joung teenagers who don't care much about feelings and emotions, they want tits and ass!
But there is also many older ones who are more interested in a good story, into developing a relation with a character.
I'm an old guy and i have seen a lot of real tits and ass during my life so i love the visual part but if there is no good story or characters i can't play a game like this.
I don't care if the MC is male or female, i have get over with that insecurity of playing a girl since a long time, i love it actually, so we can say that i'm an old virtual trans/crossdresser/... or whatever you want, it's just fun.
Every time i can choose to play a girl in a game, i do it.
And more i try to really get invested in the story, in BAD i like to really fall in love with a character, it's so much more fun than just fuck around everybody like a thirsty young bachelor!
