That's hot!same mother and different fathers.
That's hot!same mother and different fathers.
I dont think Chad is an antagonist since season 1... We barely know anything about Bella's husband, and I am pretty sure Vinny will be the one the overall antagonist as a drug kingpin with Nick being a mole (although for some reason I am not discarding Leon). Obviously on the Maya/Josy plot Maya's father the antagonist. Quinn is not obviously not a true antagonist for a bunch of reasons despite being a total bitch. I have a feeling Sage's father (I assume its the manbun dude on the Prep's party) will be an antagonist of sort but will end up a good guy. In fact, I think all fathers (Maya's, Quinn's, Sage's, the MC's) will all be somewhat redeemed.Quinn is the main antagonist, at least for now. She’s probably not the ‘real’ villain but for the time being she is involved with a lot of the bad stuff in the main story, drug dealing, prostitution, possibly the Cathy cluck and the Black mail. She is also tied to Sage, Maya and Josy. Meanwhile Tybalt fills the role of main antagonist for the Jill and arguably Bella. Bella’s could also be James. You could also argue CHAD fills the role on the Sage path.
All of the LI’s have their own story. They just have different antagonists in them.
He can have Jill. She's annoying enough to fall for his bullshit anyway. Plus her face is made of plastic. And what if the finale is the NTR scene where Tybalt fucks Jill and Bella because the girls found out that MС was cheating on them and decided to take revenge? Then the players will go around in circles for many months out of anger![]()
There has indeed been much discussion on this. All I can say with any certainty is that DPC has directly said he does not want to repeat himself and that BaDIK is a very different game than AL was. It doesn't mean there won't be drama and perhaps even some very sad and shocking events in BaDIK, but I think for him to copy the same forumla--that is, having some impossible, gut wrenching tragedy happen--would be too M. Night Shyamalan and no one wants to be M. Night Shyamalan.I know you guys probably went over this multiple times but I can't read through 7.5k pages
with AL in mind I can't help myself but to have ominous thoughts about the ending of the game. I know it's far and a lot of shit will happen meanwhile but still... when the game starts with "I was happy back then. we didn't have much, we... erm... we had enough. we had each other. as for now? let me tell you what happened"
in my mind, MC is writing/thinking about this from a jail cell, probably being the scapegoat for quinn's drug circle or something similar.
can anyone convince me I'm wrong so I feel better about this?![]()
Nick is the obvious mole. It’s just a bit to obvious. I agree Leon is an interesting suspect, and is actually my choice presuming Nick is a red herring.I dont think Chad is an antagonist since season 1... My opinion Vinny is the one true fuck up in this story and eventually will step on Nick too (his only friend)
no it can't be, it'd be too plain !! She must secretly be an undercover Martian collecting evidence for the world's most abduction worth person!! And it's Quinn, she'll be abducted and experimented on by aliens!! AND THAT'S WHAT SHE DESERVES!!!!I hope it's the latter too, supplying a strip club sounds more fun than boring parties where you try to scam some rich kids that don't want to buy your stuff
oh I didn't expect it to be such a thing but... after some of the events you've mentioned, especially the bella one that stuck cause it was commented on by the MC... I would hate to see a really dark ending after waiting for the story to unwind for several years.Having said that, you are right that there has already been a lot of foreshadowing of dramatic events (for Bella, in particular) and clearly Quinn is in danger and Riona thinks someone is following her, etc. etc., so this will almost certainly NOT be a sappy harem-fantasy fairy tale, that's for sure.
I think Vinny will be more involved in the upcoming episodes.I dont think Chad is an antagonist since season 1... We barely know anything about Bella's husband, and I am pretty sure Vinny will be the one the overall antagonist as a drug kingpin with Nick being a mole (although for some reason I am not discarding Leon). To wait another 6-7 months burning the same old theories instead of closing them to create new onesI'm looking forward to rewarding your patience with one hell of a season finale that will have you talking circles for months to come.
Lily undercover cop is unlikely, but she is spying for someone, that much you can see.People actually think this is CSI:Miami or Sherlock or something, lol. All theories like that include Quinn overdosing, dying or getting jailed for "some reason". Chances of Lily being undercover is as likely as likely as Jill deepthroating MC's dick. Cop Lily theory is completely baseless and a stupid theory.
She's been working for a long time at The Pink Rose.
Enrolls to B&R as a reject.
DIKs constantly ask her to join HOTs, she says okay okay, cool and does it.
All the girls of The Pink Rose are close to each other, they know everything about each other(maybe Madame doesn't hang out with them but idk).
In Sandy/Nicole scene, Sandy asks if Nicole has anything to smoke, Nicole says no, she's out. If you are able to solve the equation of "what is 2+2?", you know they are not talking about cigarettes.
Meanwhile Lily hears that Quinn is in drug trade from Mona being blabbermouth.
As the girls in The Pink Rose are out of weed, Lily's looking to buy some for all the girls.
Guessing Quinn is not selling them overpriced, she asks to buy. It's that simple. What's the actual base for that theory? (I know it's not necessary here, you can say anything you believe in your dreamland and pretend it's real here, that's the norm but eh)
If you are delusional enough to seriously believe Lily is actually an undercover cop, Magnar's girl and KRJ is an undercover cop too. Hell, KRJ is actually a fed. She even has an ear device for communicating with DEA feds!!!1!11!!
I don't think Tommy will die. But I assume that one or more DIK's will go.Someone going to die. I predict Tommy. Hello Vice President MC.
LoL
you said :I haven't commented at all about all the discussions about characters' being related (or not) in BaDIK, so rather than reply to any individual post, I thought I'd leave a standalone post. I may be misunderstanding some of the complaints, but I've been seeing some posts that seem to say that having all these relatives on campus is unrealistic.
I think if we have melodramatic "discoveries" that MC is related to Jill or Josy or some other variation of "long lost relative," it would be a cheap plot trick and quite disappointing. I mean, I love reading dalli_x's wild theorizing as much as the next guy, but I'd be pretty dismayed if pretty much any of his theories turns out to be true.
On the other hand, having a lot of family members at the same college in and of itself is totally normal and even expected, given that B&R is supposed to be a US school that is "the poor man's college," to quote Steve from the convenience store. I went to a pretty small public university in the US because it was affordable and close to home, as did my brother, and most of my friends who had siblings were all there with their siblings. Most of the staff and faculty who had college-age kids had their kids at that school. So there's nothing out of the ordinary in that at all.
If anything about B&R is unrealistic, it's why a bunch of rich kids would be there at all (generally Ivy League and other elite schools are happy to accept even lousy students if they are willing and able to pay full tuition) and why there aren't any older than average students there. I am NOT saying I want to start seeing MILFs and DILFs among the student body, but the reality is that schools like B&R in the US are regularly where older people go if they didn't get a degree when they were younger. Now that I write this, maybe that's why DPC introduced Madame. She's going to pop up in one of MC's classes next semester.![]()
People keep saying that, but he has absolutely no incentive to do it. Anyway, we'll wait. We'll complain, but we'll wait (this game's already been going for almost three years anyway, what's another bunch of years gonna hurt?)I hope DPC scales down after launching Ep8 and Season 2 on Steam with Ep9 and does a few more shorter episodes with less dev time.
He can't keep scaling up and up and up for every episode, it's unsustainable as it is, time wise. There's a reason art and game studios hire more people as their games tend to get bigger, and since he is unwilling to do any of that, he needs to keep scale consistent.
