it's interesting to see how immensely popular josy is compared to maya, kind of like in the game.

I also find it funny how maya is a feminist but has no female friend outside of josy & sage taking pity on her, while josy is popular with the girls despite not being a feminist, lol.

I agree, it can be easily manipulated but at the same time who would spoof IP to do this on a pool where there is like 100 votes? It's not something big with few hundreds or thousands votes to mess around with.

Oh yeah, criticism shouldn't be a problem.
But at the end of the day the game's story is the college life of party, sex, love and heartbreak of the MC... it's not a "serious" or dark story even though the subject of drugs and other stuff is presented in it. I see it as a fun and carefree story as I said on another comment.

That's why if a part of the story is not that well written or something, I don't get bothered by it, though is perfectly fine if other people do. It's just that there is some days where the negativity is very heavy on the thread.

Yeah, it should be a College Life story but as usual DPC tries to take it down more serious paths. And though I'm not accusing you, there are fans of the LI's and the game who will use the serious aspects of the game to argue their point and then turn around and say it's just a college game.

well yeah, and people wanna play VNs where you can bang "your" mom. does that mean I should want to do it too?
nope, but then again, I can't say I ever went with the flow in my life.
and I give a pretty huge fucking diarrhea about maya
but it doesn't mean I want everyone else to even like her at all. can't care less. everyone has their own preferences
what I don't get is why people get into wars over fictional chacters in these games. and it's not just making fun of someone for their choice, it's like passionately trying to prove a character you dislike is shit. just why :|

Not much has changed. Actually, still the same topics, only that EP8 has come along.

The handling has become somewhat harder, because a few thread members (I'm not naming names) are only happy when they try (with more or less success) to make others unhappy.

My theory is that it's the combination of two hystherias. The anti-NTR hystheria couse Maya "cheat" on the MC. That way everyone who has been cheat can exteriorize his pain for being cheated at some point in his life. To be cheated is not a joke, i am not making fun of this people. But for sure it reached ridicoulus points.

On top of that you have political hystheria. People will take any oportunity to throw his hate to the oposite side of the political spectrum in the most wierd ways. The world is going nuts.

Not really. Normally I'm not against any LI. Yes, Quinn I do not like quite so, but she also no LI. Except I find that my serious posts are kept relatively objective. Okay sometimes I become a fanboy when it comes to Josy and Maya. I admit that too and have no problem with it.

When I see some people arguing about something I usually keep on scrolling, things get too serious too fast on here and I don't like it even though I'm not involved.

I do remember that "warning" at the start of the game where DPC tells us about how the game will be too much for you if you are in a dark part of your life, at some point I bet some characters story or stories will get way more serious.

I think you kind of are, especially when it comes to Maya like you said.
I see your posts and replies to people who are giving good reasons why Maya is not that great of a person and a lot of the times you answer with something like.. "you misunderstood this scene. You are in wrong here. You don't understand it at all" and similar.
And to a certain degree because of that, you are too that kind of member.
