I think that the first 2 seasons are "choose your girl" and the last 2 seasons will be "build your relationship".

"Others" means: "I'm not interested in any of the 5 main chicks" (heresy!!), therefore Zoey - and Lily, and Quinn, or no one at all - comes in.

DPC made the Interlude with Zoey as the MC. To me there’s no way the MC will be able to flatly reject her, whatever the circumstances, especially with the history they have together, and the face he made when he talked with Neil about her being back.

And, I don't think things will go as smooth as we may think between MC and chosen LI anyway, there’s 2 seasons left and it's an AVN, a lot of action, drama and changes are yet to come, it will be a rough ride from Season 3 onward, I think.

Zoey is a potential love interest, but also a story convention. Her purpose is to be introduced into the game right after the player made an important relationship choice to complicate that choice. If he made a commitment she arrives to put it to the test. If he decided no one was right for him, her arrival asks him to consider why that was. Create the friction necessary to move the story along. Whether he committed to someone or not, she complicates things. That is a good thing. Conflict creates drama, and makes what you are reading compelling. I'm pretty okay with Zoey so long as she doesn't set anything on fire, damn it!

it doesnt seem particularly wise to essentially repeat the most lampooned and complained about relationship drama sequence of the game so far. especially when he knows now that most everyone that has played this game feels the M&J choice was handled exceptionally poorly. only the most diehard simps for DPC wouldnt call him out for whatever that bottleneck event was.

just my two cents though. we will see if he learned anything from the previous criticisms sent his way

Totally agree, my comment was more aimed toward the assumption she could be flat out rejected, I just don't think it'll be possible, but like you said, I don't think DPC will impose her as a relationship either.

Like NewTricks said, she will complicate things, it will confuse the MC, she means too much to the MC, and DPC ingrained her too much in the story, her having a DIK/Chick affinity gauge and all and the MC of Interlude, to just be an minor afterthought. But then, we'll have to see DPC story writing on full display, cause yeah, even if it's his story, his game, he'll have to convince people of its worth if he imposes Zoey.

its more like a couple of months between Zoey leaving and him falling for Josy, at the store. So yeah, I still think thats how it will play out, he will be conflicted about jumping to conclusions.

I don't think it will be an encore of the M+J drama, which in any case only ended the season, but it wasn't the theme, the theme of the first season was mainly Hell's week and discovering Maya's secret (the loan!!) and Josy

and considering how last season went, Zoey is unlikely to be an improvement, at least she will be a more believable doubt than Tybalt's blackmail

I'll wait to see how it develops, but I absolutely don't find it so forced that the first obstacle of MC's new relationship (Others is quite a peculiar situation) is coming to terms with MC's only previous relationship

MC said goodbye to Zoey without being clear whether he loved her or not, now he thinks he knows what love is, sure sure sure?

I know that universities in the USA (where the game is set) start in August and the term exams are in December, so the ingame timeline is correct.

Although in the UK and Europe in general, the semester starts in September and ends in December.

That's not what she says at all. The discussion is about possible outcome in case Sage accuses Sarah and/or Melanie of sleeping with Chad -- they're considering whether they should tell her the full truth about Chad or just deny they're sleeping with him. The predicted outcome of the latter option being "If she thinks we're sluts and ends up hating us, i can live with it."
