I think he's confused between quarters and semesters. Then again, that still doesn't make sense because it's not even Halloween in-game yet ... or he might be somehow thinking that college starts in the spring in the US which would actually make sense where he got the "6 months" from.

I know that universities in the USA (where the game is set) start in August and the term exams are in December, so the ingame timeline is correct.
Although in the UK and Europe in general, the semester starts in September and ends in December.

Hear! hear! Quinn is an awful human. No sane person should touch her without a stick! Shes one of the most interesting characters though because we have yet to find a deeper motivation for her actions. Money yeah but money is just a means to an end. Seems unlikely at this point but IF she ends up being just a common druggie pimp ill be fairly disappointed with DPC.
You got me wondering how many people actually fell for that broccoli shit as if its romance, its cute but cute doesnt make up for the shit shes done and continues doing. The discussion is about possible outcome in case Sage accuses Sarah and/or Melanie of sleeping with Chad -- they're considering whether they should tell her the full truth about Chad or just deny they're sleeping with him. The predicted outcome of the latter option being "If she thinks we're sluts and ends up hating us, i can live with it."

Not so fast? It's been six months since MC talks to Isabella. And at the time of the game they have finished two trimester at the university. That's almost a year. If you don't get over it in a year MC is going to have blue balls
The K-12 schools I attended functioned with trimesters. Every college I've gone to is a semester schedule. MC has currently been at college for roughly 2 months, and I believe he said he started working with Josy a couple months before school started. Yes, he's young and hormonal, but a first love can bury itself in your heart. I'm more than twice as old as MC and I can remember my first quite vividly. If she were to show up at my house tomorrow (assuming she aged well, of course) and wanted a go, she'd definitely get some. Admittedly, I'm not currently strongly involved with anyone else. That helps reduce the resistance factor, but unless I land a pair like Cam & Riona, I'm probably going to be fairly open to the idea.
Yea, the in-game timeline is correct. I'm saying the guy who thought 6 months had passed in-game since he talked to Bella about Zoey might not realize that because he might be thinking that the terms start in different months. For example in a few Asian countries, their school years start in the Spring rather than in the Fall/Autumn. So if you think about it that way, he could essentially be confusing the start times and it makes sense how he arrived at "6 months". What I was saying is that may be a reason why he arrived at the weird timeline because I can't think of why else he'd think 6 months had passed in-game.
As a side note: Yea that's actually pretty similar to US schools that do quarters rather than semesters. They usually start in September and have two quarters, then end in December. I'm guessing BADIK is set in a school with a quarter-system because they have courses that end before the end of October (Jade's class).
Also, my bad if my first comment you replied to was confusing. I worded that kind of weird. The "he" I was referring to was the one who thought 6 months had passed in-game and I was trying to work out "aloud" how he reached that conclusion and where he might have gone wrong.

ok, so, a lot of comment after I posted about not being able to get the Jill path.
Yes I have (or now had) DIK status when some major stuff came up so that's where I lost her, I did go on the picnic.
Trouble for me with all this is that the title is 'Being a DIK' so I assumed that being that was the target of the game, seems to me the game should really be called 'Being a CHIK' as that seems to be the status that gets you more of the content (or at least the content I wanted to see).
I've downloaded the gallery 'opener' and am stunned at how much I've actually missed out on by trying to get content and walk that line of not going too far, but there are SO MANY places where you add to your DIK stats and once on that path I just found it difficult to get back to the other side. I guess in a lot of cases I went with how I personally would play it, but then in real life I'd have wanted Sage (after learning that Josy&Maya were a couple) so I guess I got what I wanted. I have no intention of re-running the whole thing or trying to work out where to go from to just get certain content or routes...If Sage is NOT possible through the rest of the game then I will just give it up and accept that that's life.
