Karamba has got a fantastic sense of humour and writing style. And he's a fan of Quinn. A coincidence? I don't think so.

But let's talk seriously about the VN. I am still convinced that Camila had a role in the hacking of DIK's laptop and posting Cathy's photo (she is the one that disappears before and during the event, only to reappear after a while). Also, I looked at her face during cumpetition and other social situations with DIKs or others and she is always upset and annoyed. Not when she's with MC or Riona. I don't have any solid proof so I ask dalli_x to prove Camilla is a reptilian or a FBI agent or an alien or a trans Jock, I don't care what, just anything to confirm my theory. Thanks.

I also think it was Quinn, Camilla and Rio. We can find candy Quinn likes in janitor closet. When we talk to Mona she tells MC Camilla is in mansion but she lost her somewhere. And Rio is sitting close to the library. Also JB heard noises in Rusty's room. Camilla "distracted" Rusty, Quinn took laptop to janitors closet, posted a pic, and Rio dropped off laptop at library. We are going to find out more in any case. After all Derek discovers a camera at the end of episode 9. Rusty and boys will be much more careful from now on.

Do you mean the nerds? Yes, I also believe they have a role in spying the DIKs using spy-cams and their drone, but I suppose they act as "mercenaries" for someone else (Vinny?). I don't believe Camila hacked the laptop but that she had a role in that. I just don't know what she could have done so I asked for a theorist expert opinion.

I always supposed someone inside the party (HOT or DIK) took the laptop to the library (Tremolo's room), that someone from outside can easily access without being seen. So I supposed a nerd came in MC's room to hack the laptop and insert the photo a HOT gave him. The laptop had to be hacked, or both the OS and Rooster had no password to login? That would be really unsafe.
I still miss the motivation behind all that, maybe it's too early to guess it.

no, i didnt mean the nerds. but agree they may also be involved. i doubt any involvment by camilla, rio, or quinn though. by the dormies, i was referring to the group of party chicks thats seen often. in particular, this interaction with them.

Way too complicated. There was a path from Rusty's room to the janitor closet where there weren't any partygoers (through the dining room and up the stairs), but the door by the closet was locked. Do the HOTs have keys to all the doors in the DIK mansion? Probably not, so it would have had to be a DIK and one who had keys to all the doors. The other path is out across the main party room and up the open stairway and through the small room, all of which was full of people who would have seen someone carrying a laptop around. Getting it back to the library is a bigger problem since the only route was through the main party room or through the kitchen and down the hallway which had a bunch of people standing in line for the bathroom. Too many witnesses who would see who had the laptop.

If this was planned ahead of time the culprit could have gotten the laptop from Rusty's room and put it in the library before the guests arrived, then posted the picture from there later. It's doubtful that anyone in the DIKs would be messing with the laptop while also doing all the party prep so it would not have been missed.

You make valid point. Oh well, I just hope its not some low hanging fruit. I think Nick is innocent, but man behind everything is 100% Burke. He is biggest antagonist of the game. I expect more screen time from him as we move closer towards the end.

This scene should at least imply that Vinnie has been to the mansion several times before and opened the safe, considering he so confidently entered the mansion and found the right room without a problem. I'm guessing the cameras were also installed by him. But it's unclear how he went unnoticed at the party in episode 4 (when Cathy incident happened) and how he accessed the video files in episode 6 (when Burke got Jade and MC's sex tape).
Presumably he was the one walking into the mansion in episode 6 when the lights went out behind MC's back. But that also means someone has to escort him out.
And it's Nick. Nick was spotted in episode 4 in the library. The library is used during the game as a sort of back door used by pretty much LI in the game. Before MC moved in it's sure to be the one Nick used to get Vinnie into the mansion. From the library Vinnie was able to get to Rusty's room safely through the hallway. Riona saw him and said nothing( which is why she looks so glum). An additional clue is that Nick spotted Bella leaving the MC's room through the window. It may not mean anything, but for some reason it's Nick who is there and not Leon or Jacob, for example.

In episode 9 Vinnie couldn't get into the mansion as before (because MC had moved into the library) and that's why he had to wear the mask.
