The funny thing is that you can have Envy/Nicole route as a Chick MC even though you need to make two major DIK decisions just to get on her route (do DIK stuff at the strip club and go with Tommy to the Milf bar) and you also have to qualify for the "others" route so you need to be very judicious with your DIK and relationship decisions to thread the needle. If you do it, you get to give her cuddles during her latest love scene.

Both Maya and Josy behaved equally badly.
Josy wore a sexy dress to seduce MC, but throughout the date she talked about how good she was with Maya and shared memories. In addition, it was Josy who asked to do everything for Maya and that is what MC remembered when he was sitting in the car before the last spurt.

Contrast that with Josy.
1) Josy cannot handle the break-up at all (Especially if MC is with another girl)
2) Contrary to Maya, Josy are not interested in other girls at all.
3) Josy in every situation lets the MC knows that she still wants him after the breakup.
4) Josy is not able to move on from seeing the MC as a romantic partner. (They are never just friends again)
5) I think Josy preferred MC over Maya in the relationship pecking order.
6) Josy admits that it was wrong to let the MC have an open relationship and she regrets it.
7) If MC pursues Josy solo, I suspect Josy will breakup with Maya in a heartbeat.

TLDR; Josy is not over the MC, regardless of the path you play. (I do not have a path where MC were never in Maya Jose relationship so do not know that one). Maya instantly moves on after their breakup and becomes normal friends again.

Look, I love Maya from the very start, but it is clear which one of the two are more into the MC romantically.

I've been saying for a while now that Maya likes Sage a lot.

Josy and Maya's relationship toward MC is profoundly different.
between Josy and MC there is essentially a crush, they saw each other and liked each other, they don't really know each other that much, they first talked to each other the day before MC left for college.
Whereas between Maya and Mc on the contrary they started from a friendship that then, eventually became something else.
Josy not wanting to remain friends with MC after the breakup makes absolute sense, because they 2 have never been friends in their lives, and for the same reason it makes sense that Maya on the other hand all in all is fine with still staying in touch with MC, because MC is still one of the few people she trusts.

to this is also added a plot reason, Josy may prefer MC to Maya, Maya does not, the fact that she is more comfortable with MC is a very soft statement, which one can make even to a friend when one is in a complicated relationship. if Maya wanted to have an exclusive relationship with MC she would have solved the loan problem, and DPC cannot allow that.

I'm just writing this now just to make Maya lie so she can feel more comfortable with the MC. Why? Maya feels bad when her father just accepts her when he thinks Maya is straight. That's how it's written.

So I also suspect that it could be a mistake that Maya joins the MC in EP10. At the end of EP3, Maya says that she now knows what she has to do. So what's the easiest way out of Maya's situation? She just has to present Patrick with a boyfriend, prove that she has sex with a guy.

There will be solo paths for Josy and Maya, but these will come with consequences. If Maya is with the MC, she will regret for the rest of her life for ending her relationship with Josy, her first love. If the MC is with Josy, Josy will suffer because she doesn't have both Maya and the MC. This could cause lasting damage to Josy and the MC's solo relationship. How do you come up with that?

During my playthrough I noticed one thing. The MC can actively prevent other people's relationships from being disrupted or interfering in others' relationships. The only exceptions are Josy and Maya. Therefore I think that all three (Josy, Maya and the MC) can only be truly happy together.
