I'm a bit weird when it comes to Sage at least not the normal Sage fan I think. I actually don't like her friends with benefit path. To me it comes on a bit to fast for my taste and I want to get to know her more before lewds. So my ideal path for Sage is deny all of her advances until chapter 7 ( make sure you dont sleep with anyone else at the party as you get a better Sage lewd scene). I prefer waiting till chapter 7 because at the point I feel you actually got to know Sage pretty well at this point and well she is actually ready for a real relationship.

yeah, that path is really good. i prefer that one too. she has time to process the break up and be really available in her head for MC. though it doesn't really translate to anything in season 3, unfortunately.

I was there almoat two years, watching already the third development cycle. In two of them I tried to be optimistic, but knowing DPC now, I can,t maintain optimism - almost all development cycles are getting longer.

“Others” only popped up if I was Neutral or DIK.

I only play as a neutral for josy and Maya's route, Jill's route and Isabella's route.

I like the Neutral options on their routes. I tried the DIK route for Josy and Maya, and while it’s fun (DIK Josy is the best Josy) your decisions away from the girls might alienate them, so careful there dude.

You are forgetting the economic aspect in your considerations. At what point in time is DPC revenue at its highest? When an EP is released.

Earlier this week, I finally finished a bigger part of the episode and moved on to working on lewd scenes again.

While I loved working on static renders these last weeks, it feels great to move on to something new and work on other characters. Completing this big chunk of content for the episode feels like a leap forward.

I am now posing animations daily and will spend a few weeks doing it. If I need a break from it, I'll work on some story scenes to mix it up.

As you suggest, DPC would take much longer to complete an EP. Why? Changing a light source or adjusting a texture may be quick, but it would have to be rendered first to check it. With over 5000 images and more than 200 animations (whether 30 FPS or 60 FPS), development would take much longer.

Despite all perfectionism, you have to realize at some point that it won't work without compromises. You can afford perfectionism with a few images, but not with the amount that is contained in BaDIK.

Re 1: Of course DPC will invest just as much love in the "Others" branch, but love does not mean mass.

Re 2: We don't know what fate awaits Riona. The kidnapping may end well for Riona, but whether she stays in college, close to Quinn, is a whole other question. It's the same with Zoey. Does she stay around him after talking to the MC and have to watch the MC make out with his LI or other girl? Does she do that to herself?

None of this means we'll never see Riona or Zoey again. We also saw Cathy again in EP10. But her presence in the game has been reduced. The choice between Riona and Zoey could come down to which of the two girls the MC can keep close.
