Medium answer: 14 months to delivery Episode 11 without voice acting... Do we really want 29 months for Episode 12 with voice acting?

(And maybe 34 month for Episode 13 with voice acting and 3D-glasses)

Once the game is finished, I guess no one will continue to support him on Patreon just for him to add VA (and reading his excuses for taking another 6 years: "I'm still casting to find a male VA to voice the chess guy, and I'm not satisfied with the sound FX for the fish in the tank" )

So if he can't get more money... why should he bother?

I think if he ever seriously reconsidered including VA in the game (which I severely doubt), at that point he would need to hire on more people. Not just the actors, but a director (because DPC's ear for this is dogshit), probably a writer or two to make sure the works happens concurrently instead of waiting on his slow ass, or on the flip side some artists to help with the renders so DPC can give the voice acting proper focus. A project manager would be good too, and any number of other things to make this run as smooth as possible without taking forever.

But DPC won't do any of that. Not only does it mean less money for him, but also less control. And as mentioned in the past and should be super obvious, it's way too late to add voice acting, because all the characters sound different in each player's mind. Whoever he picks won't match, and it'll take everyone out of the game. It's all pointless.

I thought I had a lot at 18 but 111 holy shit . You making sure you don't miss anything.



I'm dreading when the others path splits of and I have to make even more of the bastarding things.

I swear when I first looked at Macky's comment I thought the number was 11 and I thought it was respectable.. I didn't even know the page count could go above 100... The most I've ever had was 28 but after pruning it I got 12 now

I use separate saves for each path. So depending on which path I'm playing, I switch out the saves folder for Lily path and put in the Sage folder (etc). - Deleting the renpy/appdata each time. And have between 12-15 pages of saves on each path.

Well episode 9 was supposed to be halloween and ended up coming out in December.

Surely the update will drop before Valentines day. At least before Spring. No later than the start of Summer, perhaps? DPC needs to add that "MC's scratching his balls" animation after all.

Jokes aside, I hope it comes out before New Years.

It's really hard to defend DPC's update schedule when it's specifically his fault that the release dates are always delayed.

Also: I pay 25 bucks to get the newest update as early as possible. I don't download it for free lol so that'll tell you how much I enjoy the game.

the voice acting never lives up to what you have in your head, there are only negatives to adding voice acting late in a vn, if it was professionally voice acted from the start that would be a different story. Like I have said here before I think Dereks voice should be Jason Mantsouka

Seriously? I played this from the start, I played it before i checked out acting lessons and I don't recall Jill and Bella being voiced, i don't recall any voices
