What happened to Darkwen is actually more tragic. After wrapping up a lewd scene, I've been working on static renders all week. Before this week, I had eight written scenes that needed static renders, and I am currently working on scene 7 out of 8. After I finish the 1.5 remaining scenes, I will continue to write again. I plan on writing in all unfinished areas and hopefully get a good flow going.
An updated checklist would look like this after the last few weeks of work.
Unfinished writing
Unfinished art
- 11 scenes in a big free-roam event.
- 5 canon story scenes.
- A small free-roam event.
- 1 small lewd scene.
- Multiple scenes for Isabella's branch.
- Multiple scenes for Josy's & Maya's branch.
- Analyze if Sage/Jill/Others branches need more content.
SFX & Music
- Renders and animations for all of the above.
- Renders for 1.5 scenes that have already been written.
- Some more SFW animations may be needed on top of this.
Coding & other tasks
- SFX & Music for all of the above, the rest of the episode should be close to completion.
After all this comes the polishing and beta-testing process.
- Rooster needs 1-2 more clucks.
- The phone gallery has gotten more art than last time but still needs more.
- Phone chats are nearing completion but need a bit more.
- Most special renders have been placed in the episode.
- Vault digits need to be placed. It's fast work.
- The end of the episode report needs to be written.
- The credit section needs to be updated near beta testing.
My thoughts on all this
Completing two big lewd scenes, powering through multiple written scenes, and stacking up a big queue of animations and static renders makes me feel like there's a lot going on right now—in a good way.
Lots of content is being produced, and while this list looks marginally different in size from last time, several big areas have been completed, and I feel like I have momentum.
I look at the unfinished writing section and feel most of it will be rather swift work. Right now, the two big hurdles are the content for Isabella's and Josy's & Maya's branches.
My animation queue has ~68 animations, and the render speed is very good. I've also recently racked up 200+ renders in the static render queue and plan to render them soon.

Finished my asshole MC pursuing Quinn run and I am pretty satisfied with it. It's by no means perfect, but good enough to keep me from wanting to go back to older saves and iron out some kinks. I thought it would be funny if on top of stacking -Maya points all game I would also piss off her dad, my hopes was that maybe he takes her away from the college or something, but no.. all that did was punish me in latest chapter with inability to steal the folder to hopefully end the drama. Blergh.... Total broccoli as my Queen would say. Next update better have some separation from Maya in major plot, I am growing sick of her. Yes she have a sad story, boo hoo... She have plenty of friends now, unless you want me to punch your father some more you should not invite me. Derek calling me 'ass man' in front of his mom was funny tho. Sexual history on this run is looking very slutty, hope DrPinkCake won't include STD mechanics any time soon or my MC will probably be screwed. But basically after Halloween party since Quinn wanted my dick to stay in my pants I reject every girl I can. I don't even flirt anymore (not pulling Josy's pony tail or spanking Elena was very difficult choice!).
Now I gotta do "good boy" Huge Chick run, I have dabled in past, but never commited (too many delicious fruits tempting me in Eden). Should I go for Jill, Isabella, Sage or Josy (without Maya, eeeew)?
P.S. What THE FUCK is that cafeteria girls problem (Beth was it?). I remember 100% that this run had 0 snarky remarks towards her or her workplace, I did not interact with her during one of the parties where she takes offence and I didn't even let in that prep boy who caught her kissing that other dude (not my fault he sneaked in and saw you!). She must be hired by someone cause there was no provocation for her to do this, at least not from MC's POV. What a bitch!

I love this title and I'm looking forward to more content. Currently there are only two things I wish I could do but can't:
1. Dick Sally down in a major way
2. Shoot Quinn in the face with a bazooka
I find it funny to despise a fictional character so much but the writer did a damn good job creating a vile, hateful, lying, manipulative and self serving bitch. I hate her so much I gave her "worst ass" at the HOTs movie night! I never do any of her content and I almost abandon a Sage run when she asked me if I wanted to have a threesome with her and bitch face. Maybe I'm so hostile because she reminds me of an ex.
