Kinda makes Maya an idiot, the scholarship program that is provided by any fraternity and sorority still needs the knowledge of the university to make it valid. Instead she believes in rumors about sorority providing free tuition.

Also I agree about Maya faith is in the hands of Quinn is very crazy

Sorry about that I double check the salary a student can earn and the average is 17 per hour and 6 hours per night where I work as a call center agent during my college days in my country where I work previously for 6 to 8 hours believe it or not. In USA a student can work 20hrs per week if there is a school but during semestral break they can work 40hrs per week as the school mandated.

Maya is capricious, she likes to play the victim, she wants all her problems solved for her and doesn't want to do anything about it. She is naive and gullible. But as much as you don't like her personally, she is the most well-described and interesting character in the game.

Honestly this is what you get when you don't teach your children, she's obviously had her life handled for her by her control freak of a father. She looks for the easy way out, and doesn't question things, because she's never had any reason to take on any responsibility. It makes her story more interesting, for me at least, to see her learning that things are a lot more difficult when you have to do it yourself.

Assuming Maya is taking a 4 yr. Bachelor Social work and she is instate college her tuition should be around 8k to 15k which I found online so I think it's possible for Maya to pay for her college if she works

I also remember when MC offering his inheritance to Maya to cover her tiution for this semester I don't remember the exact amout but it's not big of inheritance that also gives me the idea that Maya's tuition is around that range

So, as we talked weeks ago, if Maya makes some sacrifices (like working weekends, holidays and the summer) she would earn enough money to pay the f*ck*ng tuition and her basic expenses, but she is happier whining about her father and watching old movies

I like the fact that Maya has a complex and contradictory character, it adds depth to her. Especially against Josy, who can be described in one sentence: a neighbor who for some unknown reason is in love with MC.
Maya is capricious, she likes to play the victim, she wants all her problems solved for her and doesn't want to do anything about it. She is naive and gullible. But as much as you don't like her personally, she is the most well-described and interesting character in the game.
In second place is probably Patrick. In general, everything about Maya's family is surprisingly well written, apparently DPC, as in the case of AL, used his own biography to write the main arcs.
Jill on the contrary I find the most boring and most one-dimensional character in this game. I have a lot of trouble playing her branch. She only has a cartoonish conflict with Tybalt along the way and that's it. Mostly everything is perfect. And DPC himself doesn't seem to know how to add variety and drama in her path besides cheating.

I don't agree with you at all. The whole history about Maya revolves around the tuition plot. Beside that, we only have a unhappy relationship with Josy (If you aren't in her path) or a throuple with MC as the axis (As we can observe during episode 9 and 10, the relationship without him between Maya and Josy is almost over).

About Jill, she is a overprotected only child. She is shy and introvert for that and she has problems to open to people. Yes, the blackmail plot is childish and stupid, but at the same time she starts to meet new people and be more open since he meets the MC (Even if we don't follow her path)

Said that, I really want to see a "tuition-free" Maya, because at the very beginning she had some interesting moments and I hope DPC shows us a more outgoing Jill

True that is cheap, especially for something that tries to sell itself as elite with all the supposed wealthy and high powered alumni. Even though it looks to have the fewest amount of Greeks I have ever seen in a College/University.

Tuition at CUNY Lehman College is $7,410 per year for in-state residents and $15,360 for out-of-state residents. And Room & Board is $21,788.
I'm assuming all the protagonists are from the same state where the college is located. But even if the price is relatively inexpensive for them, they have to buy food, textbooks, and clothes anyway. Apparently her father gives Maya money not only for nice clothes, but also for breast augmentation surgery.
All in all, B&R is a small college. So small that it doesn't have its own sports team.

and then Mc's $5,000 is not $5,000 US dollars, it is a number in a game where there are at least 2 other fantasy currencies (where with $5 you pay 2 girls for a threesome and with $60 you redo the windows of a building)

Just finished Chick Jill run and WOW what a journey. It has such fresh perspective of the game because Jill's world deviate a lot more than other characters. You explore new sceneries, new friend groups and also it's different kind of environment, more mature, more classy. I can definitely see how not everyone would enjoy it and it's not my favorite path to have, but it did become one of my favorite paths to EXPERIENCE. Story wise it feels really satisfying to play this route. And I have to say... sex scenes are cranked to the max on this path, damn if some of my favorite girls would get such nice visuals I would be a happy camper.

Also... Is it just me or on this Jill path after things get serious I get the vibe that a) game is teasing me with a lot more cheating opportunities (which I'm tempted to dabble in just to see hehe) and b) some hints of foot/stockings fetish? Maya of all people shows up to my room without bra and see through shirt and starts teasing me about my love for stockings, meanwhile I sit there and think "Has she been reading my posts on F95zone about her?". Very interesting stuff gotta say. And no I'm not into feet, I still explored what was given and can appreciate it as interesting inclusion

Another thing I do on this run is I don't take any money from the environment, not even from my room. So MC is pretty much permanently broke and only gets money from other people when offered or bet is made (very rare occasions) and I just spent my last dollar on those damn fishes (thanks Nick, just let me do all the work and worry about finances without ability to get any money back from it since minigames are disabled). Maybe Jill will pamper me going forward, I did set my eyes on that sweet guitar hope she gifts it to MC for Xmas!!
