I know he shares some details during Truth or Dare with Maya and Josy during Halloween, but that's it. And since Zoey has returned back in MC's life, I imagine we'll get little summaries with Sage and Jill. That or MC just tells them off screen, which would be a bit lame but it's a story we've seen twice so I guess it'd just be redundant at this point.

Probably when Zoey will be back in action. or will she leave quietly if MC chooses to be with someone else. Though I don't think that she will leave this quietly, whether Chick or Dik.

You hit the nail on the head.

The key is that's presented as a "game" or better a multiple path novel (what is called a VN instead of a Kinetic Novel).

The implicit "contract" with the reader if you publish a multiple branch novel is that there should be at least one good ending.

It's a so widespread paradigm that everyone was expecting that.

And DPC deliberately violated it because "oh, look at me: I'm so original and great that I don't have to respect the expectations of the idiots whose pledges had made me rich!"
