I never said zoey is not important. But her relationship with mc is not "canonically" in question. She is back, everyone knows that, there is no need to explain properly who she was, she is a childhood friend of his, that's all. then it can be anything, but there is no need or utility to do so.



The relationship, on the other hand, with Lynette is not defined at all, she practically did not exist, surely mc will discover many aspects he does not know and it is absolutely normal to share them with his beloved.

It really comes down to how many side girls are going to get an ending. In my opinion, based on current content and direction as it stands at the moment Rio is middle of the pack.

Best Chance at proper paths and endings: Quinn, Lily, Zoey, Nicole.
Good Chance: Rio, Nora.
Very Slim Chance: Jade, Cathy.
Tiny, Tiny Milton Copium Chance: Mona, Yoga Girl.
No Chance: Everyone else.

I still think Quinn will be the one that dies if any do in this game. Way too much bad shit around her for anything other than a rough ending. I doubt Nora will get an "ending" of any depth, bit too late in the game for that. I think Jade is probably a good chance but it'll probably be a calamitous one, but with Cathy it feels like the last episode scene was the "payoff" for her arc.

Zoey will probably have an ending but I don't get why, that character has fuck all to do with the plot and it almost feels like DPC has realised she was introduced way too late to have an impact. For all the claims of minigames being a time waste, I think the entire Interlude is singlehandedly the biggest waste of time given it only has a single choice of note in regards to whether Zoey is Dik or Chick.

Nicole better damn well get a great ending.

People didn't realize that Geoff is Jill's father back when it wasn't yet revealed for the same reason, that he looks too young. He looks older than both Geoff and the red haired guy though, and I reckon he could be in his late 50s, maybe early 60s but just youthful-looking.

Tremolo's true first encounter with him will probably be if/when he tries to get back into his life. That's what my post was about, as this guy and the red haired guest were talking about ski trips and cabins which could have something to do with the MC now staying at a ski chalet for some time in Episode 11. No idea how much it costs to rent one, but if it's expensive then maybe it wasn't the MC who paid to stay there.

That was one of the worst endings to a game ever. And in a way, the anger over that ending was a compliment to him that he didn't realize. If his writing wasn't so well done, and the story so well done, nobody would really care. But I loved the writing, loved the story and he made me care about these fictional characters, and then threw in a story where you couldn't save everyone and killed one off, especially the girl that had been abused.

But... it really was a compliment to his writing when you think about it.

just because i felt aweful for leaving one of the girls to burn, doesn't make it good writing. because honestly i would have prefered a "bad" ending where MC died while trying to save both girls, as that is the only sensible reaction for finding 2 loved ones in a burning house.

It makes it good writing because you cared about a non-existent character! The fact that you were upset about the ending (as I was) is evidence that he wrote a REALLY good story which got you to care about them. Whether you believe it or not. Your reaction to the "bad ending" is evidence that he wrote the story really well.

just because i wrote a story with compelling characters and had you hooked for the mystery, doesn't mean that my ending didn't made absolutely no sense.

quite a lot of creators out there really cant stick the landing when it comes to endings.. Super Writer has been one of them Daniels K another who for some reason refuses to listen to critics when they compliment his work but he rushes his endings.. often doing the crappy if your on this girls route the story ends here choice.. if not play on till you get the girls ending you wanted leaving half a story unfinished most of the time.. Yes creating a narrative is tricky and you cant always please everyones desires for how a story will end but taking the time to structure a story well throughout its production should give you a clear idea of how to end it well.. Then again.. look at how game of thrones ended lol
