That's why I would still say late February/early March for release. It will all depend on how long the beta testing takes.

To be fair, the search function is horrible. You get 50 pages of every time the word "update" was mentioned during the last 5 years, in random order. Unless you're well familiar with how to tweak it, you'll be pulling your hair using it.

This is true, you CAN set it to filter by newest first but it's not an intuitive filter, you have to go into your profile settings to set it as your default.

I finished my masterpiece roleplay complete devotion to Nicole playthrough and here is some info about it for those interested.

What makes this run interesting is that you have to be bad boy in early game and then transition into being a good guy without falling into Neutral trap. Additionally to this I added some rules for myself wherever applicable and if they don't interfere with the ultimate goal. This was not hardcore roleplay and involved a little bit of 4th wall breaking and save scumming, but it was all done in good faith to have a satisfying run which feels authentic, natural and filled with story enhancing flaws.

General plot I was going for:

You can decide for yourself how you want to justify a college freshman scoring a hot stripper as a girlfriend, that's up to you. And you could just stay bad boy and still go after Nicole, but I think it could bite you in the ass later as it feels Chick affinity will play stronger role in this particular relationship - if you want it to be serious not just sex that is. I will go into more details what you MUST do in order to get all the juice you can from this run, but I want to share some rules I set for myself to enhance roleplay aspect of this run.

Now if you apply my rules above there are certain consequences - your status will want to lean to Chick side, but we need Dik side early game. So as long as the rules are not broken I tried to go for +DIK choices unless they were -Relationship with someone. Why would I care about relationship points with other girls if I'm pursuing Nicole? Well, in my opinion, the more cast of the game you involve in MC's life even on just a friendly level, the more "ripples" you will experience about your ultimate goal - relationship with Nicole in this case. People talk in this game, a lot behind the scenes and off-camera. I don't want to miss out on someone being jealous of me and Nicole or someone wanting to compliment us, just because MC made sure to isolate himself from the start. Also what if someone you distance yourself from later would be friends with Nicole and you can't attend that event because you are not on good terms. A lot of possibilities in future, but you do you. Not saying you should try to be friendly with Tybalt for example, game needs fair share of enemies for MC too. Okay I talk too much in this segment let's move on.

So these are pretty much the important foundations you need for Season 1-2. Trying to abide by my rules it was hard to stay on the Dik status side - doing tests takes away the points because no cheating, being kind to people you like often takes away points and trying to gain friendly relationship points sometimes takes away points too. The thing is once you will gain permanent affinity your status will automatically shift towards Chick side, so this is basically a rebellious period which fits nicely with the whole personality transitioning theme.

Starting Season 3 is pretty smooth sailing. A lot more girls to watch out for perhaps, don't mistake friendly flirting with rabbit hole towards lewd scenes. Hopefully obvious you gotta end the Halloween party with Nicole & Lily (and just like in threesome with Nicole & Sandy, Nicole does not feel left our or minding these actions so I think it's part of the loyalty - fun edition). If you find this run interesting I wish you luck in attempting it. I will drop some more status and bio or relationship panels below.

Jill path is number one path.

I love the Jill Path and usually its my first playthrough too. But yeah DPC always plays the Jill path first when the polishing starts, interesting thing. And it is Jill who does the introduction in the game too. Well, i will not assume anything, but i dont think its a coincidence...

So, january release is a good bet .. 80-90% that it will be released in january. Would fit for me just fine... iam a little busy the next weeks with other things and i might finish 1 or 2 playthroughs i wanted to do before the release too. Though i will make a fresh playthrough anyways like i always do, playing the whole game at once the first time with a new episode.

Jill route with minigames off and roleplaying good guy MC is very well done even if you don't like Jill that much. I recommend never taking money from environment so MC is lore accurate poor. I mean you have rich girlfriend in the making you will be fine.. It's definitely my Top 3 playthrough.

I'm sucker for DPC's shitty maths tests and party planner, hence need always keep mini games on. Though it will be the only case where MC might be lore accurate poor since in other cases MC is always flowing with so much money especially in chick playthroughs where there isn't the restaurant money sink.

On November 17 he announced that beta testing had started that week and the game was then released on December 8.
Beta testing on Episode 9 was on November 25 said to start in 1-2 weeks and had started on December 5 (so I would guess a couple of days earlier) and the game was released on December 16.
