After checking out the some of the last status reports from the EP 10 Cycle I'm changing my prediction from the 7th of March to the 28th of February.

I'm doing this because it appear that DPC render speeds increases tremendously in the last weeks, I'm talking about 10+ animations per week.

It's almost like he doesn't use his PCs at full power most of the time, because if you look at the reports from

you can see his average speed was 10,3 per week.

Meanwhile we got numbers as low as 5 per week this year, now sure the numbers in the end of the cycle are better because there are no more statics to render, but it still feels too much of a difference.

Rendering statics is much/MUCH faster, that's why I think DPC's PCs aren't used 24/7 and there are significant downtime after rendering a batch of statics.

He probably isn't as efficient in the PC usage because he doesn't wanna feel the botteneck, despite being it.

Several reports mentions how he got anxious when the render queue is getting empty.

Still, nothing we can do about it in the end considering he is never hiring help.

DPC patreons number have not changed at all despite a whole year without an update.

I have a feeling he still wasn't doing all animations at 60 fps towards the end of production. The other factor is that once still renders are finished he can use a 3rd system to render animations and he could also theoretically use his work station to render as well, if everything is posed, since i dont think reveiwing code and play testing is that intensive. So he could go up to 10 again (though he only did 5 last week). Even if he does at this point he probably wouldn't be finished rendering until 7th February.

I don't usually comment, but... The game is very good... for adult game standards, the writing is very well done (in most cases), but the romance options are CRAZY bad. I almost preferred to be alone when the option was presented to me in episode 8.

I know there is a more "vanilla" option in the game, but rich, virgin girls with the mentality and innocence of an 8-year-old child are not my thing (again, no offense).

I think her character is very well written. Not sure what you have against someone with a wealthy background, I mean, technically the girls are from wealthy families, but not wealthy themselves, their parents are. Josy certainly isn't from such a family and neither is Maya.

Okay, I've seen a lot, but the complaints against BaDIK that the game is too "non-vanilla" is something new. By AVNs standards, DPC selects the safest and mildest kinks (so far).
Among the games on F95 there are a lot of furries, incest, loli, Joshy genre (NTR), sadomasochism, rape, blackmail and other Slaanesh madness.
So most likely most of those here don't have the same feeling as you. On the contrary, many wouldn't mind if BaDIK became a little more kink, but without extreme.

I think that's mostly because he's dealing with smaller animations in the final phase of the development. If a big animation has to be redone, many days get lost decreasing the average output.

He starts the beta testing after the polishing is done so no, if they were finished he still wouldn't be able to start beta testing. And posing animations takes 30 min-10 hours, according to a Q&A. But while rendering he does the manual work, that is the time-consuming part. He uses Madame Rose to quick-test some animations.

What I meant is that polishing would have started earlier if there weren't that many animations to pose. While he poses an animation, he cannot do other task. Posing is not rendering. Posing means composing the scene, that is a full human task. It's obvious that he's able to work when animations are rendering. If an animation on the first run looks bad, he has to redo both posing and rendering. DAZ is not the proper software for creating animations, that's why creators who do only animations don't use it.

If you compare Season 1 to EP 11, you'll notice that they have the same amount of statics (precisely: Season 1 had more). Season 1 also was made of four different episodes, so more fragmentation, more extra stuff to deal with (4 beta testings, 4 releases, etc). But he made the first season in a shorter time. Despite having 2080TI at that time. Despite having to deal with many new problems, as it happens in a new project, that now are no more blocking him. So where all the extra time went? The only thing that increased is animations (in number and fps). Mini-games do not count for EP11 because he prepared them before EP10, he will easily recycle them.
I don't think he worked harder in Season 1 than EP11, I expect him to be more efficient now, with improved skills and much more powerful hardware.

Having a PC with a 4090 to write code and play would not make any sense, he's probably doing that in a notebook PC, so he can work also away from home while his 4090 are doing the queue.
His logic setup should be: one 4090 for static images, all the rest for animations.

I wasn't going to mention it, but since you mentioned it... I chose Isabella too (I almost chose Sage). She has a lot of red flags (which makes me quite discouraged), but I found her storyline original and fresh. Still, I preferred an option that wouldn't cause so much drama for the MC.

Someone the MC's age, who has the same financial status as him, the same interest in science, who isn't prone to lesbianism, who doesn't have emotional baggage from past relationships, someone who wasn't the most popular redheaded girl in college but who was an introverted or not-so-popular girl on campus. I wanted as an option a girl who wasn't a prostitute... or a stripper... or a drug dealer... Is that too much to ask? Maybe it is...

I'm not that much in main girls and I find BaD too vanilla, if anything. That said, why someone like Josy, or Maya, or Bella are not enough vanilla for you? I can understand that Sage is maybe too much into anal for your tastes, but the others? Their kinky side is quite moderate, they are ordinary girls.
Josy or Maya will be available for a single romance option (according to our current expectations). Bella, yes she's probably crazy and killed her husband but hey, that's was two years before meeting MC, that axe is not for MC, come on. And by the way, is murder really a red flag?

Don't mind, we don't really give a fuck about waifu wars here, we're all adults it's not Reddit or the official Discord. We say what we want about any girl, then we have a laugh. Nobody is going to cry if you just explain your preferences. Well, except Darkwen if you say nasty things about Josy.

A VN cannot cover all the variables in tastes regarding main girls. I think there is a broad choice to accommodate most preferences. People looking for the "plain vanilla girl" role are usually fine with Jill, she had to be a virgin that's like the number one rule of AVN. Maybe there will be a chance to bankrupt her so she can be poor, to be more relatable to the MC.
