I dunno what's the 'ick' with free roams some people seem to have. Is it because you just want to masturbate so non-lewd parts of the game in general bore you? Is it because you spam-click to progress as fast as possible and then can't figure out what to do in these free roams? Is it because you don't like parties and would rather sit cooped up in Maya's dorm instead and watch some movie? Just curious, not trying to judge.

It's fun the first 2-3 times, but I mean for a guy like me, who is working on some 15+ routes, come on... To keep looking at the phone, I feel like I shouldn't have to do that. The free-roams should be doable, even if harder, but still doable without having to keep looking at the phone and at a .txt file I made for THIS FUCKING REASON....

From further questioning, I found out that the person was referring to a poll where people voted for more "fetish and MILF content". There really isn't a poll where anyone would've explicitly voted for more Madame.

He removes most polls after they have concluded. Patreons can also vote for what type of sex scenes they want with Madame Rose. As an example, you can check the status update for Episode 8 from Aug 20, 2021, where he announces the Madame Rose sex scene poll for Episode 8.

in S3 onwards it's the opposite - 85% gameplay (clicking arrows) and 15% scenes. It's fucking boring.

Especially from second playthrough onward!

And if a dev makes a game with multiple branches, he must expect that most players want to play at least three or forur of them, but they want to focus just on the differences. Ren'Py is the perfect engine for that with the default setting that let TAB skip already seen text only. We could just skip common content and concentrate on branch-specific content. But noooo... DPC had to break this builtin feature by implementing infinite free roams...
