I already checked, there never was an explicit vote for Madame. Just the types of lewds, like you mentioned earlier. Madame was sprung on everyone as a stupid surprise.

I keep hearing this but never saw it confirmed, so I checked the status updates and polls leading up to Episode 7. The closest I saw was an animation poll where groping and titty sucking won, and what a coincidence! Those are Madame's first two lewds
But when he released Madame Rose's wallpapers, he only said she's "someone new", with no reference to her creation or whatever. So I guess in a roundabout way the patrons did vote for Madame Rose

Yeah all the poll says is that the winning options will be featured in the episode, and that's all. Could've easily been for any of the established big-boobied women in the game, like Bella, or Sage, or existing Pink Rose girls like Brandi or Sandy, but nooooooooooooo, we had to get a whole new character

I never said that they voted between the girls and that patreons voted for Madame Rose over any other girl. He asked if they wanted a new MILF character for kinkier sex content, they said yes. I have read some claim it was originally a request from one of the highest patreons but I don't know if that's true.
And Kemono doesn't work for me, for some reason. Not sure if it would even come up. He seems to have deleted a lot of older polls. Like the Quinn & Riona threesome that patreons voted for. The info post is there but I can't find any of the polls, unless they are hidden.

What does Madame Rose have to do with it? She's is just sex scenes without story. Literally took 1-4 days to render. But unless you want Yoga Girl to be the same, only sex scenes without story, it takes more.

I never said she was popular here. I definitely don't like her myself (but she's more popular on Patreon). I'm just saying that removing her wouldn't do much since her content takes so little time to make. Some seem to be under the impression that removing her would have a huge effect on the development time when she's literally a couple of hours of posing and 1-4 days of rendering.

One day, there'll be a poll of 'Who's your favorite side girl?' with Madame Rose as an available choice. Then the trolls will vote for her as it's not a poll that directly influences the kind of content DPC will develop for the game. Crusader of Romance will be bragging here to us that day when 0.8% of voters happen to be Madame fans.

I don't particularly want it to be the same for her. I asked you what the problem would be with development taking more time if this time; the time that DPC devoted to developing the game did actually mean better quality. Madame is an example of where that was not the case, took it 1-4 days or not.

So the size of the episodes and higher quality renders doesn't count? The fact that one episode is now as big as the whole first season? You expect an episode the size of the whole season to take the time of one episode in season 1?

You always omit the fact that the whole season 1 took him fewer months to develop, despite having to build everything from zero and having more static renderings (fewer animations), with fewer and much less powerful GPUs.The render quality has not improved that much, most improvements are strictly related to his better hardware. He has not changed style, mastered posing or lighting since ep 1.
He had made more static renderings to accompany all the dialogues, inventing UI, minigames, then he had to do extra work to publish four separate episodes still managing to do everything in a shorter development time.

Cutting content is the only way but nobody seems to want that. They want it all, just a shorter development time.

It seem to me most people are not that passionate about all the extras like most minigames, his own songs, "cinematic" animations, excessive free roams and so on.

Adding paths for the side girls really screwed up the development time but it's too late to do anything about it now. Maybe if he keeps Nora's path as over and close some other paths he could save some time. But most likely he won't. He started them and now he has to see them through and finish them.
And then we have the more elaborate sex scenes, like did Sage really need that anal sex scene in Episode 9 that took 35 days to make? And the Maya & Josy BDSM scene for Episode 11 proberbly took some time to make and feel out of place, was it really necessary?
But the patreons ask for these things and they pay him so he listens to them.

It's not really paths or sex scenes that complicate things. I remember you that first season had 29 lewd scenes, ep 11 will have 18. So he already cutted sex scenes a lot compared to the past. Writing for the various paths it's not that long or difficult to code, free roams instead are much more complex than standard linear story. Mini games are also more complicated to code and debug. A simple anal scene cannot take 35 days to write and render, unless you count animations or he had to redone animations a few times.

Compared to first season he has more animations (at 60fps), more free roams, more minigames (but they were mostly coded in EP10), more variables, more extra features.
We'll see how the overall code will compare.

It seems you always forget what doesn't fit your narrative, and you also fantasize about some data.
We can appreciate DPC's work while also analysing and criticise the aspects that we feel are less appealing about his VN. DPC will never read these pages so it's just a talk between us, he won't get offended nor change anything.
