Oh man, that scene REALLY tore me up emotionally. As a widower, I know how difficult it can be to let go and after many conversations with fellow widowers, it is VERY difficult to remove your rings. My late wife wore rings EXACTLY like this! A diamond, her wedding band and a 10 diamond, tenth anniversary ring I bought her.

I really had a sense that her husband had died and she had a hard time letting go, and how she felt guilty to have desires for anyone else (as many widows/widowers do). This was one of those scenes that I felt was REALLY well done and made me think the dev had personal knowledge of this sort of thing, who knows.

Been just over three years since my wife died. This is also part of why I really like her character and feel that perhaps she lost her husband and is just having a difficult time letting go. Who knows... well written character anyhow.

This post really caught me off guard. I've found that as I've gotten older my empathy has also grown. Maybe it's because I've been through more at this age, maybe it's because I've seen more and more people I care about endure tragedy and heartbreak, maybe it's because I work in medicine and as much as I'd like everyone to happily ride off into the sunset...that isn't always possible. In any case, I don't know you or anything about you, but I'm sorry you lost her. She must have been an amazing person for you to remember her so emotionally years later. All the best to you

The assets (especially the top tier), the programs and the PCs aren't free. Where did you get the idea that it was cheap to make a high quality VN?

The software is free, many of the assets are free, some assets can be bought really cheap, but you can also create them yourself or modify existing ones to get what you want. There are free tutorials on Youtube, including on how to remove watermarks from certain programs if you're more experienced with them and want to import them into something like Daz3d. You want to talk about personal computers in 2024? You're a freak if you don't own one in most places today.

Of course, one could make an argument against looking for realism in a visual novel made up of 3D renders. I personally play these to escape reality!

It's pretty amazing how he has the time to singel handily mod the Patreon and Discard, spy on this site and personally look through thousands of messages to block people and still put in 12-18 hours per day developing a game. Impressive.

DPC was sitting there one day and said to himself. I am ever going to get this update out.

Well fairs fair and he realized he had to block himself. So he did and now he can't get back in to unblock himself, it's a vicious circle, but long story short, all his computers are locked and until he can figure out a way to get back in we're never seeing Episode 11.

Of course, he could pay someone to get him back in, but DPC gonna DPC.

DPC can get me, he won't even have to pay me I just want to know one thing Josy and Maya breaking up
