Most people think that when they first notice it, but when they pay closer attention they notice the bits about Lynette's parents selling the house and Jill's buying it. There is some connection, but not through blood. Probably the Royces are in the same elitist circles as MC's grandparents and the revelation is another "destiny moment" for Jill. And Lana's room was probably once Lynette's room.

The likeness is a bit too good to just pass over as a coincidence. Though there are other characters who share assets so it could simply be a coincidence.

It would however mean that the events of the diary take place several years before MC was born rather than just one or two. Lynette's friends (I want to say Miranda and Viv, but can't be sure) are not noticeably pregnant when they hang out with her and run into Neil and I really doubt they've already given birth, yet Bianca and Carla are older than MC. They could easily be their aunts, though.

And just because you guys managed 200 posts while I was sleeping, here's a reply to something earlier I found very interesting.

Since the English and Math classes will be ending this semester, what do you think will replace them in Spring? We know there's a class for engineers that Bella will teach, where you learn how to use research tools effectively. MC said it was optional, but fat chance he won't take it. I doubt we'll see the usual faces there (Derek, MJ, etc) but I'm sure there'll still be people we recognize. Since we hardly know what anyone is studying for, it'd be a good way to shine the spotlight on underutilized characters like Kylie or Tiffani, or those sort of neglected like Cammy. Or even another opportunity for Yoga Girl to pop up

Same goes for whatever else MC might take, like some economics crap or other boring shit. I don't think there's cooking classes in college, but that'd be a great way to impress his ladies. And John Boy

I really hope Bella's class is in the Spring semester. Seems a waste to mention it and then not have it. And since DPC has already made a point of Jill and Josy being in the same class and Sally being in the same class with Derek and MC, it is a great opportunity for MC to be in the same class as Sage or Jill or even both. Possibly Josy and Maya on top of that so all the mains are there.

Other classes? Well, I doubt a student of engineering is done with just the gen ed course of math, so we will probably still get some more Hoff. Nora is very likely too. Sage recommended business classes. And knowing other languages is also useful. Lots of options for a new sexy teacher, but while there are the usual cliches like the French teacher, Cathy's replacement gives the opportunity to introduce a newbie teacher. Or even two since Cathy taught two subjects.

Other Spring possibilities includes a new pair of maggots who join in the Spring like Leon and Jamie did. MC will be on the father side of the process this time. Who will the new maggots be? Well I like the idea of Lucas quitting the preps and joining the DIKs sort of doing a Rusty (though Rusty never joined ANO). Tybalt has to face the consequences of his actions and those consequences are basically a slap on the wrist. When he later moans about it like it's a ten year jail sentence, Lucas will finally have had enough and tells his parents that if that is what they expect him to be, he'd rather be disowned. He'd look good in the jacket and the "Lucas, I am your father" is a very juicy reference pun. I have no idea who his maggot brother would be though.

And of course like Jacob suggested Zoey could become a B&R student and pledge the HOTs. OR the DIKs could go co-ed and Zoey is the other maggot. THAT would be a twist.

I actually don't want another class with more MGs, like I said I'd like to spend some time with the other girls. But as far as the engineering class goes, Jill certainly won't be in it, otherwise she would have mentioned it in the initial convo. But I guess other classes are up in the air.

I've seen some of the images from it, but I've never actually sat through Jill's recital in its entirety. It's very well done: the reaction shots from the various characters, Derek uses his lighter but Bella stops him, we see Jamie recording MC on the guitar, Maya and Josy hold hands during the performance, Bianca is pretty turned on by MC's fingering, Bella continues to text Jill to encourage her some more as MC plays, the emotion in Jill's face throughout the entire scene. And of course, Bella is moved to tears by Jill and MC's duet

Well it could be that the girls who join depend on path. MC takes gender studies on Maya's rec. This time the girl joins him for a class. Bella's class is exactly the sort of optional class that could be useful for a lot of people.

I don't think one class starts mid semester and continues to the next. There's whole semester ones or half semester ones. Stuff that takes a whole year is divided to two technically different classes, even if it's with the same teacher continuing from where they left off. What I expect is the next science class. Maybe first half of Spring without a science class or at least without lab work, then woah Nora's pregnant. Woah from MC's point of view that is. We've been calling it since we saw Nora's scene and doubled down when we realised the creampie was compulsory.

But it definitely is getting late for new characters to turn up. At least ones that would be serious rather than cheating options for mains or new harem members for Others.

If any jock joins the DIKs it's someone who didn't want to join the alphas or was kicked out i.e. Troy. And considering the options you have with Troy I doubt it. And I sure as hell hope the maggot options aren't another branching point. Those two should be constant across all paths.

But I really like the idea of Zoey being a DIK the more I think about it. Even if the DIKs can't officially go co-ed, Sally and Jill are at least pseudo members of betas and preps respectively, so Zoey could just do that with the DIKs. There is so much potential. She could just fuck MC in the back yard and have a DIK witness for sex outdoors. She would actually get some money for the sexy car wash, though how the hell are they going to do that one in winter.
