Dude, what the hell are you smoking? Josy has zero story of her own. Everything about Josy in this game involves her being part of Maya's story. We know snippets of her life and can infer some things about her, but she hasn't really got much going on that is her own thing and she's never really had her own thing going on that's comparable to what the other MGs deal with. The whole thing with Oscar was to highlight that fact, especially to her and make her realise she's got nothing going on that's uniquely hers.

It's next level delusional simping to think she has a better story than any other girl when she literally has nothing going for her on a personal level, and I say that as someone who likes her

The fact reminds whether you like it or not Josy does have a story. The only thing that is delusional is telling someone how they should feel about something

Josy doesn't need drama if you take Maya out of it things still work the same she stills has insecurities which with her going into modeling this ep will or can be over come. All the MGs are somewhat broken in this game, yes, even Josy, because they've all got issues they deal with and ignoring that to pretend they're perfect and they don't need anything to be better or change is ridiculous simping that, if you did that IRL, would be very unhelpful and harmful to the girl.

Also, if things were different and they weren't together, Maya's main issue would still be an abusive and overly controlling father, even if he's not threatening her academic and financial over her sexual orientation because that wouldn't be known to him, as well as her mother's illness making things at home traumatising. Josy's issue would be...not getting along with her step-mother and brother. Also some issues with fearing loss of love and having little in the way that makes her stand out from a crowd, but both have their issues, and Maya's are still probably far greater than Josy's.

It is Josy who is the more problematic girl in their relationship, because she is selfish, self-centered, childish, immature spoiled daddy's girl. It is Josy who puts her desire to be with the HOTs when Quinn and her entourage treated Maya badly. "MUH I AlWaYs WaNtEd tO bE In tHe sOrOrItY HURR DURR" and leaving her girlfriend when she needed moral support. It is Josy who puts herself and her desire to be with Tremolo above everything in the Throuple. It is Josy who is willing to jump on magic cock on the second date, behind Maya's back. And it is Josy who stalks MC and sticks to him no matter what, despite the fact that she is dating Maya.
Maya can be toxic in emotionally unstable moments, and attack as her defensive reaction, but she has self-reflection and admits that she was wrong.
But the main problem in their relationship is that the girls are not very compatible. Maya is an introvert to the core, Josy is her opposite. Maya needs someone to take care of her in a relationship, being cared it's a main trigger for Maya's being emotionally involved with someone no matter the gender. Josy is primarily concerned with herself and only then with Maya.
And what did the reunion show that was toxic on Maya's part? Nothing. The Throuple breakup route in Ep.10 the opposite - showed who's who. Maya will accept your choice, even though it hurts her and says that "We can't be loved by force", for which she growed in my eyes. Meanwhile, Josy tells Sage "If you left him, it wouldn't be enough compared to what he did", openly wishing bad things in return. Sorry, but it's true and nowhere to hide from that facts. Of these two, Josy is the more toxic person.
