Now that actually can't happen. Josy's actions would be cheating. The one who netorares darkwen is the one Josy cheats on him with. In order for Josy to netorare darkwen she would have to steal someone from him and since the only one he cares about is Josy herself it is impossible for her to do that. She can cheat and betray the shit out of darkwen but not netorare him.

It doesn't matter if he's not there, it's the threat that he either somehow finds out or makes a surprise visit and catches them together as nearly happened in Ep 7. That's why they kept their distance after that incident because before it, they got complacent and too relaxed about staying in the same room and momentarily forgot about what was at stake. They did then spend time together in Ep 8 and resolved to make things better.

Sorry but that is just lazy blaming Patrick and reaching for straws. Yes he is awful but he is not the reason Josy and Maya have a bad relationship they are. If Patrick is a threat to Maya it is because she made him one, he is only a problem when he is there the rest of the time he isn't. We have only seen girls the together twice and because of how important there "relationship" is on there path without a statement from the girls it should be assume that was all; DPC can't get away with not showing them together it important. But if they been together more then what is shown that should greatly worried you for one it disproves everything you just said and it shows they aren't enough for each other
No, that's literally the reason. If he finds out they're still together, then they believe he'll cut her off and not only mean she can't attend college anymore but she'll be lumbered with paying it back. Whether that's true or not remains to be seen, but he and his threat is literally the reason for the secrecy. The game makes that explicitly clear. You just can't accept anything other than believing their relationship is just rotten through and through to soothe your own mind when the truth is it's just in a difficult spot.
Again, DPC can't be expected to show us everything they get up to in their spare time. It's not relevant to show us what every character is doing at all times when it doesn't or won't directly involve the MC. We see Quinn stuff a lot but that's going to eventually impact him and it's pretty much the main plot of the game. But seeing Josy & Maya spending quality time together where it will have nothing to do with the MC or a main plotline is not relevant.
