Nah, I'm a Zoey simp, and Jake is my bud. He and Rusty were the nicest DIKs when we first meet them, and stood up for me multiple times. I don't get the hate, unless it's from racists.

I actually feel kind of sorry for Jacob.
Zoey's story demands that one of the DIKs has a thing for her and has to check if MC is cool with it. Zoey then has to confront MC being over her or not being over her. Either way she can't ignore what she feels herself. Jacob is sacrificed for that role. It's very natural that he would be attracted to her. They share interests and Zoey's behaviour being misinterpreted as flirting is established in the interlude. He gets a crush on a girl who isn't interested. Poor guy.
I really want to choose the option that is easiest on Jacob on any run that is indifferent to Zoey, but I'm not really sure which one it is. Giving him permission seems like the right one, but it might be easier for him to think that he deserves to be shot down for being a bad bro.
Of course if Zoey's confrontation with the chosen main girl is particularly juicy I'm going for whatever option makes it best.

Could've been worse, DPC might have chosen Derek for that role and gotten some very easy drama out of it. Instead he's just extremely jealous of her as MC's (former) best friend.

its so obvious they like each other, but ashley hates that he fucked a feminist outside and Derek might not have apologized or explained that to her. Since she stuck with Al (he is an okay guy but he fucked arieth so double standards on her I guess)

I much prefer Derek having his own independent romance. And his rivalry with Zoey has great potential. It would be a lesser story if that was traded for a Derek/Zoey plot.
And I do have that pet idea of Patrick having a one night stand with Alison and Zoey being Derek's and Maya's older half-sister.

Hey, calm down. No need to shout. I am not specifically accusing anyone, saying they're a racist. I just can't really understand all the hate for Jacob, who other than simping for Zoey, is presented as a really nice guy who went out of his way to be nice to Tremolo from the beginning of the game. Whether it's conscious or subconscious bias, it's pretty plain that there's some bias against him.

I prefer it too, but Derek going after Zoey makes for cheaper and easier drama. Plus it would show him getting over Ashley, and tbh that storyline is already dragging as is.

Aside from that, I just explaining that the leaker might be Nick or the most inconspicuous person who has been nice from the start which is Jacob and evidence and why that is.
It still pretty weird how despite that, he still tries to frame on the conversation between Rusty, Derek and Jacob on who might it be and the first thing he does is to say "Tremolo has been the leak this entire time?"

No one hates jacob for being black, people hate him for trying to date zoey. Jacob is just another victim for the drama to come in future chapters.

Why is it weird to speculate that one of the 2 new brothers is responsible? He's lived with the other guys for at least half a year & this had never happened before. You have people here speculating & they have more information than he does.
I'd like to see someone provide more than, "He's too nice." or "He's a coward." for reasons he could be the traitor. Just any screenshot of him doing or saying something suspicious.
