Touching on a topic I've brought up in the past, especially since we're right on the cusp on getting Episode 11, you guys think we'll get the girls Christmas presents? Hopefully something meaningful, and preferably more intimate (as in personal, not sexual) if on their path.

I hope they have something where we can get them gifts. I would love for it to be something branch specific and focused on the individual girl that you're on a path with. I think otherwise it takes away from the intimacy (in a non sexual way) of the situation.

With Jamie I think it was a case of he didn't think it was as serious as it was until he fucked up and it was over. He definitely feels like he only joined because Leon joined.

Yeah, strange parallel with MC and Derek (at least in about 50% of my runs) where MC is either forced to join even if he doesn't want to, or only joins because Derek joins.

I don't think it's a strange parallel, DPC likes to do it a lot. See how Vinny and MC both do the same pose and position on the stairs of the DIK house when "inspiring" the DIKs but Vinny inspired them to be shithead party dudes while MC instead pushes them to actually be self-reliant and positive.

Nah, I think it's rather obvious at this point Vinny is the main antagonist of the game. Everything seems to have some relation back to him and he has a clear vendetta against the DIKs. It's why I assume he's the one who posted the Cathy cluck given he likely still knew how to get access to the unsecured laptop.

Still, you know the famous phrase: You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain. With all possible paths you can take in this game, I'm betting there is at least 1 where MC may end up as a Vinny-like character in the future (most likely the sexless single asshole path or the Quinn path).

oh, i knew tonnes of girls like that back in the day when social media started to boom 'best friend', 'FWB', 'my new man' ect ect.. either to get someone jealous or just for attention.. my guess is he's ashamed af bordering on terrefied for getting crabs

I don't know. So far even Chick and Dik have mostly veered within a margin of error of each other. I think as far as this game's going to go is more whether you cheated on people or not rather than straight up "evil".

I do agree that will probably be the case for the entire main story, but I was more talking about epilogues. Those usually differ completely depending on the choices you've made.

That's why I think cheating or not will be the main focus on the epilogues. DPC seemed to have given up on moral alignments halfway through the game and looking at how other games have gotten lost trying to handle that with far fewer LIs to manage it was probably for the best.

I rarely punch Tybalt because it's a negative to Jill, and he's only pissing me off. I am more likely to smash his face in tennis later, but rarely do that, too.

I almost always punch out Oscar because he actually hurts Josy's feelings for no fucking reason, unless I am on a pure Chick run, because fuck that asshole. Even Tara can do better than that gonk.

not nearly as negative as you might think. You lose 2 rp, not a big deal, considering that later, she find it funny when, he loose his teeth, get humiliated in his presentation, thanks to MC's dick on the big screen, and you even gain +rp point with her in the yoga class if you mock tybalt.

We still have major and minor alignment-based choices though. I wonder why DPC still makes that distinction, even though we only can make a difference in TC and status in season 3.
