Check few pages upthread for specifics, but in Zoey's case it boils down to how you chose for MC to interact with her in past couple of episodes. Basically, giving her cold shoulder and/or telling Jacob you're okay with him hitting on her is interpreted by the game as sign MC has moved on. Same goes for telling either Maya or Josy that he loves them, which can happen in Ep.11.

Think I potentially softlocked myself with an error message. I can't progress from after the first free roam section on ep11 (specifically after texting Chad and arranging to meet in the Library). I have only one optional obective to complete the box puzzle, but when I click on it I recieve the following error message

After the argument, there's this scene with the DIK, when I've already talked to Jacob, but after that, I can't do anything because it says I still have a task, but it doesn't specify what. Also, I can't open the puzzle.

Ignoring it doesn't work.

I did a run with bella on natural affinity and didn't get this error.

My game crashes when starting episode 10 on the screen where the doctor talks to Helen, I appreciate anyone who can help

this is every time I touch the puzzle box in episode 11 1st free roam

I've already solved back in episode 10 at least the first part.

but I tried to go at again by going back to ep10 part 1 & 2 solving it there same issue.

I'm getting soft locked ending the free roam

And it seems my saves won't load.

Anyone know a fix for my game crashing after just 4-5 clicks in the new episode, or just wait for a fix?

To not automatically reject Zoey, there's a behind-the-scenes check that looks at these items:

• Mad at Zoey or not (Ep 9 choice): +3 score if not mad
• Derek or Zoey better friend (Ep 9): +1 if said Zoey
• Offer to let Zoey crash in your room (Ep 9): +1
• Photo with Zoey (Ep 9): +1
• Zoey in top 3 for costumes (Ep 9): +1
• Said not okay with Jacob going after Zoey (Ep 10): +3
• Hung out with Zoey in Ep 10: +2
• Gave Zoey hug (Ep 11 choice): +1

You need to have at least 8 points from the above (and for people on MJ path, not told either you love them) to have the option of Returning to Zoey rather than Rejecting her. The Rejection if you have the choice is also different than the automatic one.

Just finished, no spoil but damn the reveal of who's spying and why sucks. Like seriously it just kills nearly every tension you had going on, unless I misanderstood but turns out there's no traitors? That's kinda the easy way out.

Also since we're probably not getting a SanchoMod for Ep 11 and forward I had to rediscover how much of a fucking CHORE those free roams and exams minigames are. And yet the VN parts were great, like everything about Quinn, the MJ storyline progress, the DIK reveals and all. It's crazy how much I hate those free roams yet love that story and characters.

so, just a little factuality. Sage officially became MC's girlfriend in the end of episode 8. ep 9 Josy ask you a question, ( - but you can even decide to not take a picture with her - ) you are free to answer to no.

in ep 10, you don't even have to visit her. IF you do, she say she had a crush on you might still have, not barrageing you with her emotional love confession that I always love you " pick me "
and MC say I'm with Sage. - This if you actually visit her.

Now remind me of with Zoey, MC has any choice to not speak with her?! Except maybe not inviting her to read your mom diary. She show up in every party whether you want it or not.

in this episode you talked more with her than with some of your girlfriends. and there was not even a choice to not talk to her.

and unlike with Josy, you actually presented the option to go back to her.

it's not looks the same to me at all.

and all this that if you actually choose to have history with Josy. Zoey by canonically, not by your choice, is an ex girlfriend, remind me who should Sage be more worried about again ?
