For me the issue isn't that she no longer is a background character, but the personality DPC already gave her

Very interesting review. As always, at a good level. In my opinion, this episode is too dark and dramatic. I love drama, but I think he overdid it. Literally in every scene you can't relax and you're under pressure. Perhaps it was the idea of DPC to make the player feel uncomfortable, or he did it without thinking. Well, as I said before, DPC encourages players to play in several ways, to replay the game from the beginning. This episode is directed against solo players. Solo players, for example, on the Sage branch, will discover little content, as they will have to leave the party in the midst of it.

In what way is it too dark and dramatic except for Riona's kidnapping and torture (which is over and done before you even start the game) and Nick leaving the DIKs? Sure they talk about Nick leaving and the dorm girls putting up the posters etc but it isn't really putting you under pressure for the entire episode. Once the panty party starts you're under little to no pressure at all.

Its fine and all but sage finally got someone to be her companion instead of a beard

Its pretty easy, you just have to be neutral at a certain point but you probably simply (like me) always take the sage scene lol

btw i think this version of jill sucks so hard after tremolo helped her with the recital and really did nothing wrong lol

I didnt saw any difference but tbh i speedrunned the vanilla path so im not 100% sure but as far as i saw it so far its more like the non-vanilla route gives different possibilitys instead of being a own path

Yeah its enough, youre going from neutral do dik, just stay on the edge to dik the whole time if you want to be sure (not from chick to dik)
