Am I one of the only ones who is eagerly hoping for the day that Josy & Maya's relationship goes up in flames and you are finally able to get a monogamous relationship with *one* of them?

I feel like an evil bastard for even wishing that, but I feel like they don't have that much chemistry together. Even worse, I think Maya latched onto Josy just because Josy paid her some attention and made the first move. If it wasn't for that Maya would still be single and without major problems with her dad.

Probably just me though, but still.

IDK... I got the impression that the game was just written around the MC being involved in everything so those side relationships ended up turning into, "both girls aren't dating each other but rather each dating MC". I think it's a writing thing. There should be far more loving content between them (not just sex but actual affection).

Also I'm sure that we would get a massive information dump on Jill's route if she just went to MC's room more often. It's logical she wouldn't notice smaller details on just 1 visit, but MC has the group picture of his mother and her friends above his desk. It's only natural that during her next visit Jill would see that pic and at least notice her house in the background and also Miranda if she is indeed Bianca's mom. She would probably also ask why MC has that picture if MC doesn't show it himself, since she wouldn't probably know that Lynette is MC's mom.

Yeah in montage about spending more time with jill, etc, do we really believe MC's girlfriend never sat at his desk and looked at the stuff on his wall?

That is the confusing part, where is the line between game mechanics and story elements. You would think my Quinn plastered wall and phone wallpaper will get me in trouble with Maya, but they are probably there just for the player, not part of the actual story.

Imo it's a combination. MC in the end would probably learn the same information about his mother, but at different moments in time. Jill (anf maybe Bella) would be a route where you learn much sooner. Sage's route gives a hint that we will find out a lot more soon as well if they decide to look up Sage's mother's and Lynette's informatikn.

Yes, the breaking point is when you climb into her mansion at night, if she masturbates after you leave you are on her path and she invites you to Bianca, if not either the MC doesn't go to the Tybalt date and can't select Jill as a choice, or if he goes Jill will reject you.

There is, but apparently the game chooses based on the number of times you hang out solo with each. So, you get the scene for the one you favored the most. I feel it's kinda bullshit that it forces you into that and doesn't even give you an option or anything, specially considering that you are in a relationship with both, but well. DPC is locking us out of content for the girls we choose for no reason at all except for meaningless drama, I guess.

it's based on who you hang out with before the barbecue, if you hang with Maya, you get her scene, if you hang with Josy you get her scene.

I don't know what dictates whether they say i love you back, i had the love points pinned the entire time, and there are no variables that change them

Yes but you will have to plan it perfectly. Get it so are chick till after the library and the dinner with friends. Then switch to neutral keep that just under dik till you reach final exam where you can flush the papers switch to dik there. Then you can mess around with Bianca at the party but not as much as you can as jill 2/3 events. You don't jump on the Bianca path right there as the variable don't change either way. So I am thinking that will come further on. At least you know her husband cheats.

Damn, I didn't know... but at the same time I dunno if I want to even look for a route where I hurt Jill with Bella.

Also yeah, Maya and Josy are 100% breaking up, but somehow still dating MC. But if it comes down to choosing one or the other, Josy doesn't stand a chance. To me, she's the bonus in the trouple, not the main.

Am I weird for having 10 different saves for this game?

1. CHICK Bella Route (Main Route);
2. CHICK Jill Route (Which seems to be changing into a Trouple with Bella!?)
3. CHICK Sage Route (with Handjob from Jade);
4. CHICK Maya and Josy Route (I can see the rift starting, so the route might split. I kinda favor Maya over Josy);
5. DIK Uncommitted Route (Really close with all the sides and HOTs, like Quinn and Ryona, but no rolling or dating);
6. DIK Lily Route (Trying to go from Rolling to Dating);
7. DIK Nicole Route (I dunno if this will lead anywhere, but stopped rolling with Lily for her, so it better lol);
8. DIK Zoey Route (From the Uncommitted Route, so my boy ain't cheating on anyone);
9. CHICK Cheating on Sage with Zoey Route (It physically hurts, but the set-up seems the best, given how much focus Sage is giving on MC still hanging with Zoey);
10. CHICK Cheating on Jill with Zoey Route (Mostly there as the back-up cheating with Zoey route and to see the differences xD)

Granted, most of my CHICK saves come from a universal route up until MC was forced to choose. Now I wonder if I missed anything big by not going DIK and dating the main girls (Bella, Jill, Sage, M&J)?
Also wondering if there's any point in going a Neutral Route where MC is neither a DIK nor a CHICK?

Yeah, true. Though...I do wonder. Do you think it's possible that the older brothers would get passed up for leadership of the frat with all the accomplishments that MC is responsible for? Rebuilding the mansion and being in charge of it's economy, taking the reins on party planning with Tommy as his mentor...It feels like he's being setup to go on that path. And if you're on a DIK affinity path Tommy even goes on to say that MC reminds him of a "shittier version of himself".

Canonical story elements are only triggered or resolved during canonical events. So you can't have a resolution/great advance on Lynnette's story during a Jill path event.

If, for example, in episode 9 Jill sees the photo, it has to happen at the same time in all the other paths. Otherwise the story becomes too complicated to follow, and it loses its flavor when a plot resolution happens one episode in one path, and several episodes later on the other paths.

That's why the story has been shot in such a way that all the MGs become friends, and spend time together. This also saves development time, with a single scene that brings everyone together, rather than having a first scene with one MG (e.g. Jill seeing the photo and telling the MC what she knows) and then one scene per MG where the MC tells what happened.

MC rallied the frat together with his speech at the end of Episode 5. He subsequently got his DIK jacket alongside Derek and it was official from then on.

I feel actually pretty bad that Rusty for instance is realising that the bros might consider Rusty leader, but they don't exactly hold the same level of respect like for MC.

It feels like three years went down the drain for Rusty and all he has to show for it is a nice fancy mansion, The DIK's as a fraternity and having gone nowhere romantically speaking due to his "messing around and having fun" phase for the past two years. I feel bad about that, especially since he's a pretty cool and chill dude most of the time. He's Tommy's opposite, like MC is Derek's or Jacob is John Boy's and so on.
