Right, so Sage is afraid of being abandoned but there's nothing about insecurities here. And since her relationship with Chad ended because of cheating she is afraid that MC does the same even though he gives her no real basis to think like that. But that's not jumping to conclusions, none at all.

"Many other girls are like her" doesn't change anything about that it's all rooted in insecurity, possessiveness and jumping to conclusions. Those "many other girls" are simply the same as Sage in that regard. But, like you note yourself, this is not universal behavior. Just widespread.

She trusts Tremolo, she doesn't think he will cheat on her, but DOESN'T TRUST ZOEY, believing that she "can push the right buttons." And as we can see, this is absolutely justified - thanks to Grunt for the photo fixation.

I've already addressed that in the other reply, but if you think that your partner will cheat on you if only someone pushes their buttons that's not trust. That's the opposite of it, i.e. lack of trust in a person, that they could actually resist getting their buttons pushed.

And whether that lack of trust turns out justified if you choose to play MC who does fall if he gets his buttons pushed, that's separate from not having trust in your MC in the first place.

Poor Jillybeans gets no respect, it's actually quite sad.

Also, she seems pretty secure about other women hanging around with her boyfriend in a hot tub, all naked.

Bianca and Bella are Jill's closest friends she trusts absolutely (what was dumb, it is precisely such friends that need to be watched with a hawk's eye)
She also reacts negatively to his "date with Zoey" - doubts, but because of her upbringing and shyness she kept silent, then complained to Sage. The same reason - Zoey is Tremolo's ex, Jill knows nothing about and it is normal to be afraid of the unknown.
