Welp, its relief to see things coming back to an almost normal lol.

Not that what happened here is too surprising, BAK is arguably the most famous AVN rn and that bastar... I mean our dear DPC did almost touch 20K patreons which is an absurd amount, money talks and people like his work.

I had a few weeks to stew on EP 11 and I mostly stand by my Review, it was an amazing update and mostly worth the wait even if my favorite path was a bit of a downer overall...

Josy and Maya have a tons of issues to work out and I hope DPC won't make the throuple break up inevitable. However what I will not forgive is the shit tier music used on the FUCKING BEST LEWD SCENE IN THE EPISODE.

I MEAN WHAT THE FUCK, HE ADDED OVER 40+ SONGS TO THE UPDATE TO THE GAME AND HE CHOOSES TO USE A RANDOM ASS SONG FROM EP 3 FOR THE MOST HYPED UP SCENE???

OK, this is a really sore point for me, but it really bothered me since I normally can never point out any misses from DPC in the music department.

However, thinking about the game music did gave me an idea...

We are at least ~17 months from EP 12 and we still got shit from DPC from the new cycle so nothing new to discuss yet, so why don't I start a little something to distract us?

I broke the music down into Characters or Scenes, not on individual music alone. This shows that the scene is memorable because of the music more so than the scene itself, but also that it elevates the scene with said music. Even though we have favourites, I tried to be as objective as possible...

I have never gone with that path but I think breaking up with Jill in episode 8 is quite rough. There are just so many romantic and emotional moments between the two that I have a hard time understanding how she could let it go just like that. Throwing rocks on the window which reminds her of her sister. Helping out with the performance. Seeing their meeting and relationship as part of a destiny. That is why I usually reject her early in episode 5 if I intend to go another route. I don't have the heart to do it later.

You should probably take care of Sage since that also puts MC out of her path. And Jill takes it very well when MC rejects her in EP9 this way. A really friendly "We are in the same page, then." It's still sad due to some things Jill says, but this is more about her character arc than anything else. And afterwards I think the relationship with both it's the same as if you reject her in EP5.

I agree it could have been handled better but it's not so simple. Jill is under a time restraint because of Tybalt's coercion, so it was a bit of a now or never type of moment for her to be able to get closer to the MC before she had to stay away. And if you don't go with Jill in that moment she doesn't get to hear the story about MC's mom and that's an essential part of what solidifies her feelings for the MC. You change the time and context of the situation when she hears that story and it won't have as much of the same impact as it does during the date.
