Probably nowhere near but statics have always been quick, and at least a quarter of the story already being written in full suggests a tighter episode (which makes sense storywise).

Will be interesting though if there are any super detached sections akin to the trip in episode 11.

Well yeah, he says so in the same update. He has a set amount of animations done, he's readying up the queue and statics are going to have to wait.

He's trying his hardest not to spoil the fact that episode 12 is the last "normal" one we get before it goes on rails in season4

Knowing DPC, he's unlikely to give up his favorite freeroams and minigames.
Except DPC changes his mind often and developing ep 13 and 14 will take much longer than developing ep12.
In general it's too early to guess, but I'm sure that ep12 will not be released before summer 2026.

Rereading the Status update, i have to agree with you. Its highly likely this is the last normal EP with the traditional minigames & renders (seeing he said this could be the last SR poll)

Add to the fact the last two Q&As he stated something along the lines of season 4 won't be typical as it contains the endings etc etc

Obviously he can't just say I'm planning the episode to close up most story lines before we get into the endings of season 4.it be a very spoilerish thing to do, but he's been dancing round the fact long enough

Just a guess but after 12 it could be your just watching and with only a few choices for 2 eps then 2 eps of endings or season 4 is just a massive ending full cut screen like a fucking movie
