Magnar is using the Brawler app as a back door into cell phones and computers. He waited until someone at the party signed on, which just happened to be Nick. Detecting that Magnar remotely logged in, made the post, while Nick is sitting there with the laptop. Nick see's the post but knows he didn't make it, but he's the one with the laptop, alone, with no witnesses to what actually happened. He panics, tries to hide the laptop and gets semi-caught by the MC who doesn't realize until later Nick was hiding the laptop so people wouldn't know he was using it at the time.

But Nick didn't make the post. He was just the unlucky sap who happened to use the laptop at the time Magnar remotely made the post, leaving all the blame pointing at Nick, who is actually innocent.

Doesn't cause me to have much sympathy for Nick because of how he acted afterwards. He hid the laptop instead of going to his brothers and telling them what happened (which would have made clear someone else was remotely using their account and likely revealed Magnar's tampering much sooner and collapsed his plot much sooner). When he was caught he threw everyone else under the bus, revealing things told to him in confidence. He may be innocent of most of the crimes he's accused of, but that doesn't make him any less the rat.

I honestly think that the only reason that Nick was hiding in the library with the laptop was to jack off to something in the laptop. Maybe in one of the hidden files of the past DIK escapades that we do not have access to - but he does because he was a DIK father - Tommy posted his public sex with Heather. It is excessively sad that Nick would jerk to that, but that's also probably why it was true.

Yeah, openly dating Zoey and getting kicked out of the MG squad as a result would pretty much have to lead to an almost immediate ending, but I'm not sold on that being completely off the table at this point.

The other options are, as you say, that Zoey gets welcomed into the family (maybe Sage finds out that Zoey also struggled with learning the guitar and does an instant u-turn on her opinion of her), or that it somehow just doesn't come up until after the end of the main story.

I get what you're saying, but she doesn't seem to be that way with the tri Betas / Magnar. So if I'm right in that she had been given a really bad impression of the DIKs (and others) it would explain her attitude.

Okay... I just got out of the shower and I was doing some thinking while in there (good place for it). If I were writing things, this is how I think I might write it. Not saying this is what DPC has done or will do... just how I would do it.

Sally comes from a working class family, her parents are good people, so no big drama there. Dad was nice, mom was nice, they love her very much and they worked really hard to get her into B&R and pay for it. So Sally really doesn't want to let her parents down. No Sally is not as smart as she puts on, she's not dumb, she's just not what would normally be Tri Beta material.

Magnar has known this all along, but he offered to help her with notes and things to boost her grades. Eventually Magnar used this to "persuade" Sally into being his girlfriend. Sally was also getting some private tutoring from Cathy, and between the boosters and the tutoring her grades were doing really well.

Magnar used Sally to get the pic of Cathy, Sally didn't want to but she didn't feel she had much choice. Without Magnar's help she might flunk out and she can't let her parents down, they've sacrificed too much for her to be here. So she took the pic and gave it to Magnar.

Then things blew up with Avery and Beth and Co reposting it all over campus. Sally is too ashamed to tell anyone her part in it and feels horrible since Cathy had helped her and she betrayed Cathy. She also began seeing Magnar for the slimebag he really is. Magnar used the threat of revealing her part in his plot (which would get her expelled) to continue to control her and buy her silence.

No longer feeling she belongs with the Tri-Betas, Sally began to get to know other people and eventually going to parties with the DIKs (and possibly others). That further began to open her eyes to the truth, these people Magnar had influenced her to look down on and hate, weren't who she thought. Some were bad, sure, but some were good people... mostly... they were just people and she began to feel more in common with many of them than the Tri-Betas. Plus, if the MC is being nice to her... well, he is cute isn't he. As Sally began to widen her circle of friends, Magnar cut her off from notes figuring that without his help and with Cathy gone she'll flunk out, but once again the MC inadvertantly spoils Magnar's plans by simply being nice.

At some point the MC wins enough of Sally's trust that she confides in him what she did, her role in the Cathy pic and that Magnar has it in for all the Frats even if she doesn't know all the details (Magnar was using her, he never fully trusted her since he knew she was "inferior"). This leads to the MC arranging a meet between Cathy and Sally where the truth comes out. Cathy is hurt and disappointed but forgives Sally, understanding that Sally was pressured into it, Cathy maybe even suspected it was Sally but never said anything in order to protect her. This gives Cathy some closure about it all that she needs. Que the tears and hugs as they make up and become friends again. This also adds Cathy as an ally to the MC against what Magnar is up to.

Cathy informs Jade about it, since Jade is still faculty. The MC and Sally have a chat with Bella and possibly Professor Hoff. This builds a faculty coalition to act against Magnar and have him expelled, but while agree to protect Sally, keeping her part in it a closed matter as much as possible and she won't be expelled or have anything permanent put on her record. Plus, Sally can count on the MC and the MGs to help her with her studies now... who knows... maybe she even becomes a HOT.

That wraps up Sally's part in all this... but this needs to be timed with other things.

At some point I'd have Rio come back, and that finally blows the lid of Quinns machinations, the prostitution, etc. Sage is forced to face all this and is devastated, so the MC had better brace for a lot of crying on his shoulder cause Sage is going to need the support... double that if you're on her path. But Sage is a tough gal and will pull thru. This also draws Burke into the cross hairs.

Again if it were me, I'd have Sage and the MC talk with Mona and convince her to come forward. That brings charges against Burke. And if Cathy, Jade, Bella and Hoff are already in a coalition, that's bad news for Burke. Add in Jill contacting her family and Rusty talking to his family and B&R might just go back to being run by the Burgemeisters and Royces instead of the Burkes... further crushing Tybalts world (oh how sweet his tears will be, like a fine wine). Burke is done for and resigns in disgrace rather than face a drawn out prosecution. He's showing every sign of being burned out with everything anyway with the way he's handling the divorce so far... he just doesn't care anymore, and he doesn't like the man he see's in the mirror.

That leads the MC and Chad to calm things down between the Alphas and the DIKs, which with the help of Rusty and possibly Anthony, that works out. Dawe maybe gets kicked out and replaced by Anthony. Tommy might step down as VP of the DIKs, making way for the MC, and a moment when the two finally come to terms and respect for each other (and if the MC is on the MJ path, Tommy finally gives them his blessing). At some point maybe even Chad comes clean about his relationship with Troy, forcing the Alpha to do some growing up as well, and also finally giving Sage that last piece of closure as well.

In the end, the college gets a new Dean, the Frats and HOTs go through some shake up but come out mostly intact. Cathy gets closure about things and moves on with her life, happy. Jade possibly retires from her job and moves on as well, too many memories here, perhaps she joins Cathy and the two cougars go on the prowl together both in a better frame of mind. If the MC has had a romance with Jade, they can continue it without the complication of her being a teacher, or else break up and move on. Sage finds a new person to train as future President of the HOTs, that could be Maya or Josy perhaps since they are main characters, I would say Elana but I suspect she'll graduate about the same time Sage will so that wouldn't work.

Magnar, Ron and Bert are kicked out of B&R, with Magnar being hauled off in a straight jacket while screaming how his plan was perfect and they can't do this to him because he's the Dungeon Master... his mind having finally snapped as everything he planned crumbled.

As for Bella, if the MC is on her path (possibly even if not if they had become close friends), they finally open the locked room. In it are all of James things she's packed away. James was killed by an IED years ago while on deployment. They'd had their problems, but they still really loved each other and Bella had never been able to let go. The MC helps Bella clean the room out finally... time to let go. As they are finishing up that night, the MC hears Bella gasp and drop something. He goes to see what's wrong and there in the room stands James. He says nothing, he simply nods, blows Bella a kiss, smiles and fades away. James is finally able to rest in peace (and that means the soldier the MC saw previous was also James ghost, bringing that full circle, he's been watching over Bella all this time). Bella, when she comes to her senses after nearly fainting from the shock, feels like a weight has been lifted. She knows she's done the right thing (whether that's just moving on if not on her path, or it could mean the relationship with the MC if on her path).

Quinn moves on, she's a survivor... part rat, part ermine. She'll find her own way and place in the world, somewhere else. Rio, Mel, Sarah and Camilla remain part of the HOTs, its awkward and some issues will have to be resolved (did they all really need the tuition money from whoring or not, maybe Lily gets some of them jobs stripping, lot of ways that could be resolved, don't forget Burke was part of that free tuition so if the Jill and Rusty's family's are back in charge that could get put to proper use).

I can only guess what DPC will do. But if it were me, that's more or less how I'd write it. Like I said, I'm a hopeless romantic at heart.

Just thinking out loud, have at it if you wish.

I think she is based on her attitude during the gaming sessions. Showing off, complaining about everything, refusing to listen and yelling at Magnar at the end of play. (I think he loved that sessions if I remember right :) )

It's entirely possible that this was the case, and it would be humorous. However it's weird that he didn't admit to it if that was the case during confrontation, since he's already admitted to screwing her.

Yeah i think there's a possibility of something like that. In his past work DPC showed that he likes over the top drama. This game is meant to be more lighthearted on that front. Who knows, time will tell.

Never bothered me, but i remember back in the day that this was something that pissed x % of the player base off. People would argue back in forth, usually it was something that iirc a lot of Jill "mains" or whatever really disliked. It was a long time ago. As in late season 2 days. Had a different user back then.

Yeah i mean she gets a scene on her route if you have the prerequisites. I think a good way of thinking of Jade as an LI would be to think her as a part of a MILF route if you will with Cathy, Jade, and Nora combined being somewhat comparable to one of the other LIs on the "Others" route. Remember that we get teased with a long awaited 3-some scene featuring Cathy and Jade if you've had them both.
