I disagree that he's a follower. He would more be something like a leader from the shadows.

Dawe already took his advice during the meeting with the DIKs and the HOTs about who the HOTs should be with at what moment, and he's also the person who first said MC couldn't have taken the pic, but afterwards Jacob says that both Anthony and Chad DO say MC send the pictures.

I really think he for a large part just acts as someone who is extremely dumb/unintelligent.

I've heard stories that BaDIK won't be as dark, but can't find proof of that. Still though, that might just mean that either we have a chance to save her if we play our cards right, or she always dies without interaction from the player. Both will be less dark than AL, since it's not the player who is forced to let one die through our choice.

Set Us Free popped up on my playlist, got me thinking about the end of Episode 10 if you get the contract, and the resolution in 11. I remember some people theorized that because it's possible to fail, that might contribute to the breakup of the throuple. And it's sort of true, the only mechanical difference is that if we fail, we're forced to take a side: agree with Josy that Maya is only accepting the outcome because she's all out of options, or respect Maya's decision and let her choose to move on from this mess... and gain/lose a whopping 5 RP with the corresponding girls. Doesn't sound like a lot, but RP now matters greatly for Maya, Josy and the possible future of the throuple. Planning future playthroughs, it's starting to look like balanced players get the contract, and solo players might fail on purpose.

I think getting the contract matters more for trying to save throuple or dating both if it can't be save. For solo I think what matters is getting a I love you, contract or not it goes to the same place.
