As far as I've interpreted (and presumed) from the walkthrough, the three choices you get (more science, party, fighting competition) will effect Tremolo's career choice in the endings, so i do the following
a
DIK saves = Fighting
Neutral Saves = Science
Chick = Music
I could easily be wrong, but the "shapes your view on X" has made me interpret that way
